Anyone else feel like Wrath was overhyped?

Yes I completely agree, I think a ton of aspects of the game got ruined by Blizzard just dropping the ball and not caring enough to fix any of it. imo Wrath is far too exploited now for it to ever go back to normal, too many people abused and got ahead and the bots don’t make it any easier for legit players either.

RDF would solve a lot of issues too.

Delimicus, you are absolutely right about the original DKs. My Unholy DK in the original expansion was The Thing That Would Not Die…and, when he did die, he came back: as a Ghoul, to fight for another two minutes (um, ahem, a desthspan one could extend with Talents, as I recall—though I guess I could check the original strat guide).

This change alone is why I have my DK on the back burner. This ability was legit one of the coolest ideas they had for a class ability that wasn’t insanely OP.

No, because this wasn’t a new expansion release and those who had an IQ above room temperature knew nearly exactly what we were getting. And many have been playing this very content for over a decade.

do you ever do anything else than post ?

wotlk was always faceroll/easy mode. Hard mode/heroic raids are akin to what was standard in vanilla and tbc - normal raids were designed for casuals to drum up interest. Fact is, a majority of us were bad at the game and thought we were good, but are now seeing wrath for the first step toward being a casualfest retail wow eventually became.

Yeah this is what I’m noticing too.

I dont find it over hyped, just the 13k queue for the first 2 weeks and no RDF killed any notion to log onto the game.

No.

“Post must be at least 10 characters.”
:axe:

Most of the problems you mention are attributable to botting/boosts, which is not a Wrath particular issue.
Arenas have always been niche.

Well that and no RDF.

Ok, but thats an opinion that people have a split opinion on. I enjoy being able to pick and choose who I want to play with. Its a nice tool to put better groups together than RDF would put you in.

Also.

Do people honestly find this some time/energy consuming task? I never got this complaint. I have always been able to continue what I’m doing while checking the LFG or old bulletin board addon and send out invites just fine.

They have a very globalist type of mentality and a need for power and have things absolutely their way.

Adding mythic plus to wrath. Nerfing the heroics and raids to make them more accessible. Charging when things were added in game (dual spec, remote bg’s) or there removal entirely (rdf) which was then replaced by retails lfg

The first year outside of Ulduar progression sucked. It was mega hype after RDF came out though. I AM KRUMTOILET!!!

?? They buffed 3D Sarth and Naxx.

The vast majority of people wanted Dual Spec in TBC. If they delayed Dual Spec, there would have crazy outrage.

Yeah we def need RDF

I mean if we’re talking in technicalities It’s Heroic + and it’s not in the game yet and when it is, it’ll be used as a catch up feature, it gives the previous tiers 10 man loot (which is hot garbage btw) nothing more.

The only similarity is that it scales (not indefinitely, unlike M+) and has + in the title. It doesn’t even have affixes.

False. They buffed the raids, and WotLK heroics were always faceroll.

It’s a retail system being injected into what is now wrath reforged. Can’t even call it classic

Not in the least, I knew what to expect (minus no RDF) a great story, gameplay was starting to get good and northrend zones were bis…
