that’s not not a proper cause and effect. its not naturally at all. the patch is not what made the raid easy.
Just take a second and wonder, is it possible for it to be the first patch, and the raid to also be easy.

top ranked guild clear of noth has the lowest damage (excluding healers) being the tank. 3.5k with the top damage at 9k ish.
ranked at like 6000 something for logs, a noth kill has the average dps doing less than 3.5k, (only 5 players above).
this kill has a decent spread of green and blue parsing players, so they are decently at or below average.
if you would put the top guild at the theoretical best performance, and the raid is still doable at below the tanks threshhold, its easy to show that even with a 50% reduction of performance, the raid is still completable.
and this was only 6000 counts down. so this isn’t even the min.
I got lazy after scrolling to the 6000s.
tldr, -50% is still not enough.
It’s not about RDF. They usually include that, because it’s a hot topic. Their earliest bait was just poking at classic vs retail tribalism. When queue times were the topic, that’s what they used as bait.
The content doesn’t matter to them, it’s all about what gets them the most attention. When another 7 days go by, and they’re still posting, even though they claimed to have unsubbed, I assume they will come up with some nonsense reason why.

Can i get some clarification of this? I’m a feral with very decent PvP gear, and my abilities don’t ignore resilience. Bleeds ignore armor, but that works the same way for all classes with bleeds. They do not ignore resil.
That’s not even what I was arguing, I was saying 3.5 scaling made the raids face roll.
I would rather have RDF than subject myself to having to manually find groups 24/7 especially with less and less people are even leveling as time goes on.
