Longtime Hyjal Alliance player here.
I am so incredibly disappointed that the server merger didn’t happen. Back when I started playing, there were plenty of guilds in both factions, but when I came back for Legion (left right at the start of MoP) I was surprised by how small the Alliance population had become.
I was really looking forward to joining a server with a healthy Alliance population, and now I feel like I don’t know what to do for Shadowlands anymore. Faction swapping isn’t the answer for me, as that kills the RPG element for me, and I’ve transferred one toon, but I’m not prepared to drop a ton of cash for more alt transfers.
Feeling like the rug was pulled out from under me.
