If only there was some sort of consensus on what “classic plus” entails.
Keep asking. You aren’t the only one.
I’m not interested but it would be nice if the option was available for those that do.

The only reason I have interest in HC is because I hope that when they roll out new HC Servers they will also make new REGULAR servers #FRESH

Well, quoting someone from the fantasy genre, “I want everything”. Or at least… something. We don’t hear a word from Blizzard for months now.
Hardcore will be good if implemented, even if It’s not for me.
My biggest desire is Classic+, obviously.
Every time someone explains what classic plus is it’s different. What are you guys even asking for?

The forum is a decent enough place to post wish lists and call it “classic+” because you’ve already got an account.

Oh I’m guilty of it too.
I’ve my idea of what the plus should bring but I try, not always succeeding, to identify it as “my idea of what it should be” and not some hallowed, carved in marble-kind of thing.
I mean like another oldschool MMO made, new content aligned with the old design of the game. IDK how much experience you have with other MMOs though
Zero interest in HC servers.
A new fresh PvP server would be awesome though. 1 server so both horde and alliance are on it rather than having different “horde” and “alliance” servers.

No interest in Hardcore. I am glad of the chance to come back and experience the game as it was, bugs and all. The only thing I would do different at this stage would be to check the server population before rolling my toons. That has been a real kick in the pants, however lessons learned.

Have you rolled on Whitemane lately? It’s packed! A fresh server will basically funnel away some people currently progressing in classic era, of course the die hards will roll so they can speedrun the content, and you’ll get a huge flood of retail/wrath tourists. After a few months it won’t feel so “fresh” anymore. I get that season of mastery was different than 2019 but I really doubt that’s the only reason it went as poorly as it did.
We’ve had the benefit of Blizzard leading us by the hand for years that we don’t even know how to build communities anymore, the way other players of actually dead MMOs do. The fresh experience is great but without the promise of longevity means very little to the kinds of people who will be here long after Cata is rereleased and finished.
I think we all definitely wish to see Classic+, there’s so much of OSRS that Blizz devs could learn from, but I’m not holding my breath. Even if I thought it was gonna happen I’d give it a few years. Choosing to play on classic era and make it accessible to new players* feels like a much more worthy investment in the future of the game right now, if the classic era community is resilient then it doesn’t matter what else happens. Plenty of MMOs survive on smaller player bases.
*To clarify, by “make it accessible to new players” I mean things we as players can do as far as advising and aiding new players, we don’t need Blizzard coming in and giving everyone a free 60 and a mount lol

Why wouldn’t we be able to have a Fresh PvP / PvE server and a Hardcore Server. They can all exist it doesn’t have to be one or the other.

I like HC but I also want a TBC only server as well maybe 2 one pvp one pve idk.
Really not sure I want to be forced to move on to Cata like we were with Wrath.
I like TBC but then again that’s when I started playing , Classic era is great but I would like tbc.
I tried leveling a toon on SoM. Made it to 37 without dying. Got bored. Even with the quest XP buff, it was too slow to keep me going to 60.
