A bunch of people I know will be unsubbing due to Blizzard’s lack of interest in fixing scaling for old content. Me? I’m still here for now.

I’m giving till about the middle of January. If there’s no tuning by then, I’ll unsub until the next patch and try again.
It’s really not a big deal, I usually unsub a few months at a time when I’m not happy with the game.

Why not? You’ve already paid the money. If you want to play then play.
I did more entertaining to be on forums, honestly only thing i have to look forward to is to see if the tree mount ever comes out like they promised.X to doubt.
I have 3 level 60s, and honestly, I have nothing to actively pursue on them. Nor on the army of alts I have.
I like to solo. I like to go into legacy raids and dungeons I have noooo business being in, and try to pull them off alone. I like to do transmog runs.
I like to feel more powerful as I level.
I like to have something tangible to work towards.
And so far, SL hasn’t provided any of this for me.
I don’t like the war table mini game they brought into the game in WoD. Doesn’t interest me.
I have absolutely no clue why I’m helping any of these covenants. WQs right now are a massive pain and I die more often than not, because I felt far more capable at 50, than at 60. My secondary stats have all plummeted and playing any of my 60s feels just really weak, and unrewarding.
I keep wanting to be excited for the expansion. And when it dropped, I was. It’s beautiful. But once I’d seen the zones, I was left with this empty kind of ‘well, what do I do now?’ feeling.
It’s been hard to put my finger on, honestly, and I’m not even sure it’s just one singular thing, but I’ve utterly lost interest in logging into the game.

I haven’t been subbed for months and I’m still here, people do like to check and see if the game they’ve played for years is getting any better ya know?.

My guess is that those people probably aren’t looking at the WoW forums anymore if they lost interest and unsubbed.
And, correct me if it’s wrong, but don’t you have to have active game time to post on the WoW forums?
Already did myself not like I wanted to but you know what the grind just wasint worth it anymore particularly after I got raid benched
The real test will be if I have to pay real life money to continue. So far that hasn’t happened.
The vast majority who unsub just leave quietly in disgust. Before the obligatory simp comes along and says it isnt happening, I would point out the lack of queues to get on at night on even the full servers.

I most likely will. Just returned after a two and a half year break. Not that I hate WoW (or was nerdraging over the BS they pulled with allied races in the beginning) just wanted to try SL. It’s ok…but the old guard has certainly left.
Its just that my WoW addiction is gone after that break as I discovered other games to play during that time.

So you missed the point entirely that everyone on the forums can unanimously agree with you and it’ll still be less than 1% of the population that asking for this opinion on the forums won’t give you the bigger picture of what most people’s complaints are; just the tiny fraction of the minority. I’m not sure if you replied to the wrong comment or you just didn’t read what I wrote but… there it is.
I came back after years. My guild still technically exists, but like myself, everyone is gone and haven’t logged in for years. SL is ok, but now the weekly grind is already getting old, and being able to see how long it will take to get higher progression personally, it’s a pay-to-grind for little ROI. I’ll give it 1 more month, but that’s probably it. Curiosity fulfilled I guess.

If it wasn’t for Chromie time, I would definitely unsub, Shadowlands just don’t have enough engaging content mostly done with it.

Yep. I am unsubbed. Doesn’t run out till the end of feb. though but I have no plans to renew. BFA was great compared to this xpac. For those still enjoying it I hope you get to enjoy it for a long time but it’s not dragging me in like it did back in the day.

I might. Just waiting for ps5 to stay in stock. Id quit cause i dont have time to be pushing content i want. Its getting boring for me and im not motivated to gear up cause of it.
Last resort i play classic but i want classic gameplay with retail story
Most of the people who unsubbed aren’t going to be here commenting about it.
So like the threads of people saying they’re quitting or unsubbing, this too, is just seeking attention.
