Any word on paid Xfers?

Server reputation actually reduces toxicity to a minimum. Why do you think people are being toxic in games nowadays? Because you get put into a random group of 4-5 people for half an hour and you’ll never see them again afterwards. Feel free to be toxic all you want no consequences cause report system are a joke let’s be honest here. Getting mad at each other in every mythic+ dungeon. I don’t see that sh!t in Classic and I don’t wanna see it happen, and the best way to prevent that is server rep. Need to be a decent human being is all and your post shows that you probably are better off in toxic retail, no wonder you’d all be for transfers. You’re problaby a ninja.

Or they’re concerned about their server dying after the hype for classic dies down (lets be real, not everyone is gonna stay for 2+ years)
not everyone is a ninja. that is a small minority of players

it did work in vanilla and i will be laughing at you when it happens again

Its funny how those that dont want server transers want to dictate how those that do, play. Those that dont want it dont have to use it. And by there anecdotal logic, not many will use it anyways, right? So i dont see the issue here. The community argument is flawed too. For alot, their community is their friends, they could care less about most of the randoms on a server. I for one welcome xfers when they will be implemented. My classic and tbc guild decided to xfer after the first week because of ques, but with my schedule being the opposite of thiers where i can play through the night, i got pretty invested in my leveling and alchemy. I honsetly dont want to redo that so i will gladly transerf to them with a hopefully geared toon and stock of potion recipes.

So this is the response I got in regards to paid transfers from one of the GM’s. It is a literal word for word copy paste:

"Salutations Jason,

Thank you kindly for taking the time to reach out to us today. I hope that the day finds you well! •ᴗ•

As of this time Development has made not announcement that Character services are going to be made available in the future. While it is not impossible that they may decide to at some point. Currently it would be best to assume they will not.

Thanks again for your time and giving me the opportunity to address your issue Jason! Have a great day!"

Kind of messed up seeing as in vanilla they actually had paid transfers. If they think they’ll keep people in classic without them, they are wrong. Not going to be like vanilla if they don’t make paid Xfers available in the future.

i am with you on this, i want them. No point in listing all the reasons why but I’ve rerolled 4 times now. It would be a godsend to consolidate now that everyone i signed up to play with is on the same server again.

no bad idea this will allow retail players to start boosting communities and there stupid rare market trading as they will use balance to move around.

free transfers to low pops or none at all re roll or deal with it.

You can play with them. No one’s stopping you. Stop trying to pay for game ruining features.

How did they get “splintered off” (get on different servers)? All the transfers so far were to ONE server. If they are on different servers, they chose those servers when they created characters. It was not the result of the “free realm transfers”.

ANY group of players that wants to play together could easily choose characters on the same realm. Blizzard has done nothing to interfere with that, and it is hardly rocket science to do it.

I simply do not believe that your “friends” levelled all the way to 60 without noticing they were on different servers. If they didn’t mind not “playing together” 1 to 60, why do they care so much about “playing together” now?

More likely, you levelled to 60 and THEN found a guild on a different server that you would like your level 60 to be part of (to raid or do dungeons or pvp with). You want Blizzard to give you that feature, so are calling these strangers “my friends”.

Not likely for a long while because the current servers need balanced and the only way to do that is to control who goes where. You should have just rerolled.

Uhh what? I’m lvl 22. Most of us are in the 20s. What is this wall of text; you made an entire fake narrative and then got mad at your own creation. Some bizarre projecting going on here. Thanks, I guess?

i’m sure they’ll add them eventually. in like 6-12 months.

in other words, plenty of time to reroll and level and get more geared and rich than that toon before you even have the option to transfer.

This sounds very tinfoil hat-y.

sources needed.

It’s time Blizzard, time for paid transfers. Yes many people did get splintered off from their friends. Different people have different work schedules and some didn’t start playing until days after launch.

We all knew the queues would be bad but no one knew they would be this bad weeks later. I just chose Whitemane because I was worried about dead servers, now i’m on an extremely populated and toxic server without friends and my only way out is to go to a server with only 9 level 60s online during peak hours.

And yes I have rerolled to my friends server but I’m almost level 60 on my main and I cant just give up on him totally.

+1, Im on arcanite Reaper right now and im sorry to say but either you opened too many servers or not put enough incentive for people to transfer because this server is freaking dead. It’s phase 2 and nothing is happening anywhere anytime. It’s the worst server pop in all the game.

This game is basically boring and unplayable until I can xfer too an alive server.

Although I can say that I will not be transferring off (since I’m a RPer on a RP realm I like) I have absolutely no issues with people doing paid transfers.
