The free one is what it is, but I would gladly shell out the $25-30 to sync back up with friends who all splintered off in the queuemageddeon. Just hoping it’s on the horizon.

So you can all pay to server hop to different servers again ?..if you couldn’t plan accordingly when Blizzard issued a warning about queues, then made more servers, and more servers, all in the first week, how do you think it will be any different this time round ?
You will always have friends that are isolated from you, one way or another, there’s just no way to get everyone on the same server without …well you know what lol.
If you didn’t plan accordingly / became too invested in a low level toon to move or reroll when you had the opportunity, paid transfers aren’t going to solve your problems.
Only thing paid server transfers bring about is the destruction of player realm reputation and forced name changes. What motivation would I have to not ninja loot in a raid and then just transfer off the server ?

I guess you haven’t been playing since launch, but the issues of disparate friends/guilds is ongoing for a LOT of people. It’s very easy for you to say “why didn’t you plan accordingly” from the top of judgment mountain, but in reality, some people learned to live with a queue, some moved, some moved again, and now consolidation is happening for many. Call it “too invested in a low level toon” but at 1 day 23 hrs /played already, I’ll gladly shell out $25 to skip the ~50 hrs of manual labor starting over again. 0.50 / hr grinding or… just keep having fun for $25?

I’m fed up with this being riddled off by idiots over and over again. Every server available at launch was impossible to log into outside of maybe an rp realm. So guess what friends off work or without a job split others with jobs and other priorities. The oo your friend should reroll or you should’ve planned accordingly can stop. Just give it a rest already and shove your two cents up your rear. Paid transfers is very welcome.

If that lvl 22 is your main, I would seriously advise you to just reroll. It could be very long until payed transfers are offered. And also you will have people like me and others that will oppose them. Lvl 22 is nothing, just reroll .

Of course no server transfer will ever be made available beyond the one you got last weekend (which was already stretching it). It will undermine any reason for people to fit into their community and support rude and destructive behavior.
The way to solve your problem is by re-rolling on another server. Any type of server transfer has negative impact on the server tied reputation system.
It should be easy to understand why this is not and will never be in classic.
Same goes for name changes and similar services.

It’s not the level, it’s the time. A lot of us aren’t 18 anymore and don’t have days and nights and weekends to play. 2 days played at 2 hrs a night puts me back the better part of a month just to get back to here. Plus, they were available all throughout vanilla, so while you may personally oppose them, they have always been there.

It does not matter if some is for or against it. Such service will simply not work im classic and Blizzard is aware of this.
This and other services are not in classic for a good reason and it is very simple to understand why.

Me personally opposing them is most likely indicative of other people also feeling the same. Also, as you can see, they are currently not available, even though blizzard could be making money of it.
If you do not reroll and play another 1 month on the same server, you will 2 months behind your friends instead of 1 like it is now.
Rerolling isn’t bad, it gives a chance for your friends to help you out also :). It’s always nice to help out a lower level friend. But of course you’ll do what you want. But it seems to me that if you are betting on transfers being available sometime in the future, then that is a risky bet, it could be that it takes very long time, or that it won’t happen at all. Blizzard hasn’t even mentioned anything about this yet, and my understanding is that they view this as more of a last resort rather than something to just add haphazardly. It seems like a risky bet to bet on them being available sometime soon. I would bet money that they will not release payed server transfers within 4 weeks.
Can you answer why you want to undermine the server tied reputation system? (you seem to really want to push for such disruption)
Did you ever ask yourself why there is no transfer or naming service in classic?
I’m for paid transfers.

Also, imagine being mad that people want to play with friends. Many of my friends couldn’t bear the queue times and just played on different servers. They now wanna come back but are 40+ which is half the exp to make it to 60. I wanna play with them, and paid transfers were in vanilla. #Nochanges, bring us paid xfers.

Paid transfer was not in vanilla during its prime and they are not in classic now because it goes against the idea having a tied community that cannot avoid being judged for their wrong doings and/or positive behavior.
Stop being selfish.
If you want to play together, roll together like the rest of us. You do not need a second solution for your problem cause there is already a solution and hence no problem at all.
If you followed the classic discussion and development the last few years, you would know all this. It is unbelievable that you come to ask of such services for classic now.
