The fact that it takes them 24 hours to send that copy/paste garbage is quite sad.

you don’t just “try” you basically post whatever you want to say with a bit less of meaning… basically you want to express yourself somewhat but not like you would in real life sure you wont be liked by the cool gd club when someone makes a thread with “who’s your favourite poster” and stuff but who cares :man_shrugging:

I’ve been banned several times and I know who reported me some of those times that I got banned, it’s the mod who has the final answer anyway…

Any time I’ve had a post moderated, I’ve received an email that explained the moderation and specified exactly what I said that caused it.

Do a search in your email for “Forum Account Action” if it’s really not there :man_shrugging: That’s how mine are titled.

They do that to make it look less automated. Look our robots are on a timer so you don’t get a message for a super long time, so they are totally not robots. We even named our robots to make you think they are people!

Being a mod heres gotta be a fun job. Give someone a minor slap on the wrist and suddenly youre LITERALLY COMMUNIST CHINA. Some people just cannot comprehend that they get flagged for a reason.

They don’t anymore. I just discovered the other day when a post is removed you can click on the notification and it actually shows you the post, I assume it works the same way when you get a forum vacation now.

I used to worry about forum ‘vacations’ way back when. Then I got permabanned from the forums during Wrath because I upset people in the Off-Topics forum when I was being pro-expanding health care coverage (before Obamacare came out). Just some spiteful and crazy people out there reporting anything they disagree with.

I got rezzed during the last major forum software upgrade. And not because I was right about health care insurance back then. lol. Nowadays, I don’t worry about it much. Unless your life is built around social media, you shouldn’t either.

I did that search just now and it found my 24hr temp ban (back in 2018). It was over-turned very quickly thankfully, but the email did show the post I made. So they do (or at least they did back then) show you what post it was.
