I’m trying to gift my friend a 1 month wow sub, but it looks like you can only gift 2 months now? Is there a way around this? Perhaps instead could I gift them bnet balance and then they use that to get a 1 month sub?

if they can purchase 1 month sub then yea that is the way to go. gift bnet balance. just need to remember if they are in a different country and use a different currency it may not work. tried to do this with a canadian friend don’t think it worked due to currency difference
I just give people enough gold to buy a token when they want a month.
As for game time just explain to a GM that you need help in getting said gold out of the mailbox or whatever and they’ll give you a day of game time (limit 3 per expansion, I think).

If they’re real world friends, you could go to a retail store and by blizzard balance card. Though they only come in 50 and 20 (where I’m at), so you might need to get a little creative to take care of the tax. But they can use that balance card to buy a token for game tiem.
Alternatively you could pay for a pre-paid credit card, like a walmart money card.
