I don’t have Diablo and I haven’t played them in ages. I did try PTR but overall the gameplay wasn’t for me. However to get the pet Baa’lial, I need to buy the expansion and I also need to buy the base Diablo IV as well. The cheapest is $30 each, for a total of $60.
Any chance the pet will be available elsewhere for less? Or trading post?
PS also would love to get the 3 vanilla CE pets, $2,000 or so if I can find an unused CE box.
It dropped from the Greedy Emissary during the Diablo Event when Diablo IV came out. That was your chance to get it for “free”.
How to get baa lial?
Baa’l is a WoW secret battle pet added in Patch 8.0. To get Baa’l you need to click on 13 different pebbles in hidden caves all around Kul’Tiras and Zandalar. You have to click on the pebbles in a specific sequence.Mar 8, 2019.
Is this a different Pet? I see the name is somewhat different.

I still have an alt with a useless Baa’lial in their bag. Main already got it during that event and can only have 1, and it’s not tradeable. But the alt can’t bring herself to toss hers even though it’s soulbound and useless.
To me, that;s one of the dumbest things that WOW does. Along with giving us duplicate stuff we can’t vendor.
But I understand. It’s almost like killing a pet. Eventually, bag space becomes more important than sentimentality
Blizzard should make all non-cageable pets have vendor value of 1cp by default so we can quickly dump duplicates like the 63 dupes I had to delete a couple weeks ago

Got both Baa’lial pet & Amalgam of Rage mount today
i already have all the WoW stuff, but i have not gotten my Diablo 4 stuff yet.
Did you check the Stable vendor? That is where I found my mount, barding, and trophies from the promo.
When I logged in to D4, there was an icon notification over the stable vendor on the map.
yah it was not available to be made active or whatever, said something about "-legends of Azeroth’ and linked to the shop, im guessing i just havent gotten it yet.
just checked—same thing, they did say it could take til the 17th
