I did not play this paladin during season 1, so I do not have older items to use on Catalyst.
I did, however, get the LFR version of the set through the Isle vendor - farmed it for the currency and got the full set.
But curious about Normal/Heroic/Mythic appereances.
Is it still possible to acquire Champ/Veteran/Hero track items from season 1 during this season or nah?
The raids can still be cleared and you can catalyst items from S1.
They can’t be obtained in the same way as the LFR sets via the Siren Isle, and previous season gear can no longer be upgraded. Normal and above would require doing the raids themselves.
Although I think the world bosses still drop Season 1 champion gear, but you won’t finish a full set that way.
You can get S1 Champion level gear from the Siren Isle “storm” quest. (I think that’s what you are talking about. If not, please ignore.) I’ve been doing that and using the catalyst on them to complete the Normal item set for each class. But it’s a pain because it’s one item per week per character and it’s random. Yay. Another trinket… I wish the vendor would just sell champion gear, perhaps at 10X the cost of veteran gear. I have so much of that Siren Isle currency at this point.
