So, Blizz’s boost FAQ says just the first chapter of a War Campaign is finished after a 120 boost. I just boosted an Alli character (from SL-preorder) and…i’m done w/ the War Campaign apparently. Well, I guess the pre-Nazjatar War Campaign (if that is counted as part of the War Campaign). Now my only options are the campaign to Nazjatar and the Pride of Kul Tiras chain to unlock the race. I’ve read other posts on older threads w/ differing info - can do war campaign, can’t do war campaign.
Am I correct in that I can’t do the pre-Nazjatar War Campaign after a 120 boost? Is the “first chapter” basically the entire War Campaign if we count Nazjatar? I was figuring it’d just the be the lead up quests that are before you land on the Kul Tiras/Zandalar.
Thanks
I believe that the “1st chapter” refers to the 3 foothold quests. So, that would mean that you are part-way through the Ready for War achievement for the war campaign. (You can look at your achievements for Ready for War to see how far along the boost set you.) The rest of the Ready for War segment of the War Campaign is more set up for later stuff to come.
The second part of the War Campaign is Tides of Vengeance, which ends with the Battle of Dazar’alor raid.
Naz’jatar is tied into third part of the War Campaign (Veteran of the 4th War) but isn’t the war campaign itself really. You have to progress in Naz’jatar to unlock the ability to progress the War Campaign.
Thank you.
My boost was for Alliance, but what you said still applies. I checked my Achieves and just the footholds were completed for Ready for War. I can continue the War Campaign, but wont be prompted at the top of the quest journal (since it’s at the Nazjatar step) and the questgivers look to maybe be “trivial” since they didnt appear on my map lol.
But regardless, I started the next steps in the War Campaign! So thanks.
