Just picked up my UH DH and he currently sits at LV 57. I seem to to great damage in dungeons however, I am not even using D&D.
So, is D&D a waste of a rune or should I be using it on pulls? SS just doesn’t hit hard enough imo…
you should be using it lol. Pop it then spam SS. It hits 5 mobs in total per use for FULL dmg of the scourge strike, plus it also bursts their festering wounds for more dmg if they have any on them. Run bursting sores and infected claws and it’s the highest AOE dmg build for unholy.
TLDR; Yes, use D&D On CD during AOE situations. Don’t use it if you’re only doing single target tho

Thanks for the advice…Spamming epidemic seems better than spamming SS at my current level. I think SS needs a damage buff.
It really doesn’t.
You spam SS to build the runic power to spam epidemic. Epidemic does more dmg w/ a higher enemy count, but you need to build that runic power first w/ SS, and it’s more efficient to use SS than spam festering strike.
Look, you throw out your dot, make sure its on all targets.
Throw D&D, Spam SS. These cost runes. When you’re standing in your D&D, SS hits all your targets.
When you use runes, it builds runic power, then you hit Epidemic to dump and aoe again with Epidemic. Epidemic uses your runic power.
It’s literally the easiest, and most op aoe in the game.

Scourge Strike costs runes. Epidemic causes Runic Power. You use both abilities.
are you guys spamming SS even if there isnt wounds? I find i get rune locked if I applay the wounds first, then DandD because you are allready down 3, then SS but if you only get two wounds it kind of sucks because you dont have enough to apply more wounds.
Yes, if its 3+ mobs SS without wasting runes to apply pimps, is a DPS gain.
