Any tips for fighting warriors in pvp as a druid?

Not sure if i should be posting this here or in the druid forums but i have 39 druid im working on nightslayer and was wondering if anyone has any tips on fighting them. what exactly are we supposed to do when they pop retaliation? any advice is welcome thanks in advance

Root them and keep your distance.
Vs Druids on my warrior I just mash hamstring every time you change forms.

Retal has a 30 Min CD so if you root and run away even if you die you know they won’t have it for the next 20-25 minutes by the time you get back to your body/spawn/heal up.

Go into bear form. Use your stun to give yourself an opening to heal without getting pummeled.
Use frenzied regeneration.

Go into bear, stun them, swap to caster, root them, run away, go cat, and get your bleeds going(pounce and rake).

ty i need to get in alot of practice to get used to this class

I don’t play druid but I do play warrior. You probably want to be trying to drag out the fight, without letting them get out of combat or bandage.

For retaliation, you probably want to either wait it out, mitigate, or kite them, if possible. It wears off pretty quickly. Maybe hit them with spells, but it’s probably not worth wasting the mana and being caught in caster form.

Druid’s got a lot going on.
Fun class.
I played one to 55 in SoM.

If you’re able to pre-prep before the fight cast your HoTs on yourself before you engage so that you’re healing a bit while fighting.

thats what i tried to do with moonfire and it oomed me pretty fast, so i will not be doing that again heh

LOOOOL ARE YOU SERIOUS???. I genuinely thought this was a troll Topic, like man how can you have issues fighting the most garbage class for PvP in Classic wow, they’re literally cannon fodder and you can treat them like if they worked at Figueroa Street in LA.

Just perma root em, slow em and kite them to death, hell even if they get the smallest chance to get near you all you gotta do is stand on his dead zone and spit them all over the face and teach them that all their gear from raids and the parse are meaningless, profit, watch them cry in tears helpless.

im new to druid and trying to figure it out but thanks for the help i guess

Warriors tend to not like long fights, and tend to not like fighting bears. Kiting is great, but you’ll need to work on finding that intercept dead zone, which can be annoying for a warrior once you figure out how to exploit it well.

Druids can be really good in open world PVP and battlegrounds, so be looking for ways to use the surroundings/environment/other players to your advantage.

If the warrior has mortal strike that’s a very strong weapon against certain classes that would easily handle a fury warrior.

Can you give advice without being a condescending jerk about it?
Congrats you have knowledge the OP doesn’t have.

That doesn’t make you a better person and they don’t deserve the way you’re talking to them.

Oomfire/other dots can break Roots.

My thoughts exactly.
Rune Is like that one guy at work that knows everything, has done everything, and the only reason he’s working where he is is because his boss in the previous 20 jobs didn’t like him.

Druid is all about using all your tools and winning the battle of attrition.

Just be very careful not to OOM yourself switching forms.

We know…

But it won’t really break them from the dot damage.

that was exactly my mistake i made earlier with that warrior i fought, i think ill just try rooting next time they pop retalliation

The woke era is over, you can’t keep playing the victim and being in this level of softness. Time to man up and grow some :baseball: :baseball: . I have something for you and it’s that scene from the community show of Professor Ben Chang in his classroom.

And already gave him the advice in a nutshell, there’s really not much science about how to kill warriors, like I said they are complete garbage in PvP, even more so when 99 out of 100 warriors are just bad overall players trying to faceroll a class that only sweatlords get excited about in PvE.

You going to call him a soyboy next?
