For beginners, I hate this place (like many do, I’m sure). We need 4 runs this week if we plan to upgrade our cloak this week. On top of that, I also need to get both masks.
Is there a preferred route or is anything skippable to get the pages and masks that I need? I’m not really interested in a full clear, just get-in, get-out.
Dratnos posted a solid full clear run on his Outlaw rogue to Youtube that’s solid. Really though, you just want to maximize your memento income until you have Gift of the Titans, because that’s what makes solo multi-mask full clears possible.
The 65% reduction is also really amazing. Did my first four mask clear today after upgrading the cloak, and I think I’m going to go for five this week.
EDIT: Also, I find the rank 3 Breath of the Dying major to be really strong in visions for quickly knocking out the few dangerous mobs that can threaten your sanity, since virtually nothing seriously threatens havoc DH health in visions. It takes a bit of practice to get used to setting it up, but it really makes things smooth, and used correctly, is continually off cooldown.
I know havoc is amazing at them, but i 3 masked it as vengance. With spirit bomb/cof, dps isnt bad. Also, mobs have less health for tanks going solo. Finally, veng has better utility imo.
6 second aoe silence versus mobs that can stun you. Silence, interrupt, chains, misery can all stop spell casting. 40 yard leap with 2 charges and 12 sec CD trivializes leaden foot. Able to do dps w/o looking at mob for those eyes (SpB, sigil, immo). Dont need to worry about dying as veng. Twilight devastion procs melt faces way more. Slightly more ranged dps for those times versus Alleria you cant melee.
Lol DH’s get it the easiest in visions. Its like playing on begginer mode.
Yeah, fury’s really tough and requires tons of skill.

4 mask was a joke. Will be doing a 5 mask today.
Do mage quarter first, get lust on CD. Then do any other corrupted zone. Then lust on Shaw. Then another zone and lust on alleria.
Alleria should be your only struggle since she’s awful for melee.
I use purification protocol major and conflict, breath, vision minor
Botched my five mask attempt today in the Shaw area. Got greedy trying to proc gift going into the second miniboss, and some of the trash over there was too unfriendly to try combining. Live and learn.
NerftankTV posted his run. He went Dwarven and then down around clockwise. Looks doable.
I brought Purification as major, but in hindsight I think Breath major might be stronger for knocking out the problem trash faster.
