Waters not an issue in any of the zones. Threat reduction when fishing is nice, but its becoming kind of annoying to have to swap back and forth between rod and weapon when im out and about,
Don’t get rid of it 
Put it in your bank at least! You worked hard for it.

Oh for sure. I wouldnt delete it. Just find it harder and harder to justify carryinging it around.
I wish I could delete it to be honest. I’ve been petitioning blizz for years to fix it, because once BFA came out, they removed the option from the NPC to remove traits from it (probably just an oversight), and so now I’m stuck with the trait that makes me invisible while i fish lol

It’s by far the most useful fishing rod in the game I only wish it was account bound.

I don’t intend to (ever) give mine up, but I have been using the new rod for its enhanced bait chance.
Put it on your action bar with a keybind for easier access. Macro it with your main weapon(s) can work as well.
Keep in mind the new vendor pole is +15 fishing and higher chance for bait. I shelved my angler for that rod since bait seems important.
