Are any guilds using a DKP system or another form of loot system where individual players can earn their gear rather than have an anointed few deciding who does and doesn’t get loot?

Loot council is cancer.
Its anyone who is preppy, best friends with leader, or willing to send pics who gets the loot. Loot council is 100% subjective. There’s no measurable way to reason why someone gets item over others.
Best is epgp or zero sum dkp. Literally weeds out the lazy people who don’t participate. And rewards the ones who are present constantly.
