I mean once you get past the gear upgrades? Do people still run it for runes?
I like to run it once or twice for the story and feel of it all. After that I can only assume people are farming gear.
Transmog maybe? It isnt content meant for me but I imagine that is a factor.
Back when I used to run it, even after I geared out, I’d do it to help others gear out.
I’ve also noticed on armory some people skip right over lfr.
It’s released after normal and heroic, so a lot of the more raid-oriented players have no use for it before it is even available.
Any point in doing …?
You could ask this about most things in WoW…
For any content that provides something (gear, currency, reputation, etc), when you have obtained all that the content can provide, is there any point in continuing to run it?
This has been a thing since the beginning of WoW.
The only reason I did lfr was when I switch from combat to assasin to practice my rotation before I went back into normal and heroic with my guild. lol
Haha. Is outlaw so bad?
No, its not bad. In some fights it is better than assasin, but assasin was the right move to make for raiding. I am usually top 2-3 on dps charts. Plus dont have to worry about RTB. It does get easier to play once you get the hang of it, but gets annoying when you need to keep dots on more than one target but gets easier over time. I only play combat now for mother because I am part of group 1 to go to the next room and the cleave damage is much faster and better.
I run the first 3 bosses to get the raid buff before running a higher raid.
I run it weekly on my enchanters so I can DE gear and supply gbank with stuff, and the runes so I’m not spending stupid amounts weekly for raid.
That is because it isn’t designed or implemented for people who want to participate in Progression Raiding. It is for people who don’t want to participate in raiding.
Does Sanguicell drop in LFR?
With the time I have to play it works great. I can jump in knock out the wing then log out, or if something comes and I need to leave I dont feel bad because they can easily get another person.
Edit: to answer the question tho it’s great for people with time constraints who arent able to commit to a raid schedule, or have the time to group finder and pug the place.
I think they have a chance to. I’m not sure, I have about 1200 in my bank and have no clue what to do with them
I could see running it for that if you needed to make the armor after you don’t need the gear. I dropped mining for LW and made the legs/boots, was super pissed when I found out Engineers didn’t get a recipe for it.
Or scrapable gear.
I run it on characters that I don’t know what I want to do with.
Which is basically everyone except my main.
I’m happy runes aren’t as big atm (not doing mythic this expansion). Last expansion I had to run every LFR a week to keep restocking on runes.
Enchanter for purples to shard, and on this toon if the satchels are up and I feel particularly desperate.
