That’s not what I was saying.
I’m saying that the current TBCC devs must agree with the reasons that the original TBC devs left dual spec out. Doesn’t have much to do with authenticity, it just so happens that it aligns with authenticity.

Because I agree with the reasons for the way it was. You already know what those are as it’s been elaborated on in-depth hundreds of times now.

That’s fair. It would a bit arrogant saying, “We know better than the devs that created the most successful mmo ever.” And kind of rude and disrespectful really.

Precisely.
Many of us who have been in here defending a non-dual spec TBC have pointed out tirelessly that there’s no question that today’s TBCC devs are, in various ways, respecting the original design.
They’ve made changes, some even questionably poor ones, but they’ve outright stated their goal is to stay authentic.
Dual spec not getting to see the light of day is just an area where that philosophy is well executed for our sake.

It is a good feature but that doesn’t mean it’s a good feature in every single scenario.
It’s a great feature in the context of the expansion it both was introduced in and belongs in: WOTLK.

Define bad? Cause you want the feature for convenience not to fix a broken mechanic or severe imbalance in game accessibility, I like the game how it is and for the most part how it was. I accept the dated mechanics and restrictions they impose. I play for an escape to a past experience and cherish it even more for its vintage roots and intent to give us a chance to relive an authentic as possible experience. DUAL SPEC would destroy that experience for me just as hvh killed my desire to bg twink

Ziryus cant seem to understand that it’s not that we think the feature is objectively bad, we just don’t believe it is in line with the product we are intending to pay for.
I like ice cream.
It doesn’t mean I like ice cream even if the server randomly decides to put a scoop of it in my tortellini.

Clearly not all of them, since they haven’t added all of them.
Edit: and LMAO, same faction BGs could be argued to be WAY more than a QOL. Horde basically couldn’t even PvP at all without it. Completely different situation.
