Any other Solo Players out there?

Yeah, Context on that was for leveling content. And that is dead now anyways. End game stuff has always been group based in WoW.

What context?

The guy I quoted said:

He didn’t say raiding. He didn’t say dungeons. He didn’t say pvp. He said to play MMOs.

So no you’re both wrong.

I am talking about YOUR quote from the blizzard box.
Reading comprehension is hard though.

Yes it’s fine. Who cares what others think about your playstyle.

My experiences are similar to yours. I started in 2005, made a lot of friends, used to run dungeons, raids and BGs. I also had a lot more time on my hands.

In SL I did a bit of M+ but nothing over 5 or 6. We raided a little and it was fun because of the guild I was in at the time. I ran some RBGs and random bgs and just wasn’t having fun with it anymore.

This xpac, I’m mainly solo. I ran some TW last week to finish leveling a couple of toons and plan to do more this week.

Anyway, just chimed in to add my voice. I hope you continue to enjoy the game however you want. :dracthyr_heart:

Yeah you seem to have a problem with it since the box doesn’t say that either.

WoW’s original goal was to be a better EverQuest (the original devs said that in an interview) and one of the things they did for players was make this game solo friendly since you couldn’t do hardly anything by yourself in EQ.

Those two games would have been review bombed and been continuously put down by the WoW community with posts demanding someine be fired if WoW was released like they were.

Super buggy release. Sometimes nearly unplayable. Meanwhile Starfield is only fun if you ignore the main storyline…much like WoW.

I have concrete memories of guildmates from the Vanilla days who said as much, too. They came from EQ to WoW because of you could get so much more on your own. WoW being my first MMO, I had no idea…but I did know that I never wanted to play EQ.

Sorry I had a tiny aneurysm there. The fact that you can’t put very simple things together like the FACT all end activities in classic when that came out are group based. AKA Raiding, Dungeons, BGs and correlate that the only thing that you can do solo is questing is beyond crazy. I mean unless you want to make the argument they were talking about professions in that quote lol.

It was a great game at the time but WoW fixed sooooo many things.

They had a mob ranking system in that game based on colors.

Gray - very easy, no exp
Green - kind of easy, little exp
Blue - I believe this was equal to your level but you ain’t soloing it unless you’re a certain class.
Yellow - slightly above your level and forget killing it without a group
Red - ROFL

Dude you are young I have underwear older than you

I could tell.

I know that. Never said I didn’t know that. Sir, you really shouldn’t be attempting to say others have poor reading skills when YOU can’t string two thoughts together. I already addressed this:

Neither the box nor the person I quoted was talking about group activities. You are the only person doing that as if it proves some point, which it doesn’t.

Show me where she quoted him where he was saying “End Game” have always been meant to play with other people?

He didn’t say “End Game”…he said

You directly reference box art in the argument WoW was made from the start to be a solo game. I said that is not true context is that is for leveling. And your smart man went to say

Yeah it doesn’t directly say it sure. But since how the game comes out it means that or it is just irrelevant because its not true.
Because Box art has a history of being accurate… still waiting for flying machines in wintergrasp.

Dude, you’re moving goal posts and sticking your nose into a conversation that has nothing to do with what you’re trying to pedal. The person I quoted said THIS:

The box art from 2004 says this:

I don’t give a damn about group activities because it has nothing to do with my point.

Yeah, and that statement is true. They have ALWAYS meant to be played with other people. Just because you can play solo doesn’t mean it wasn’t meant to be played with other people. Otherwise why do elite quests exist that force you to group up.

Tovi be the bigger man and drop it. Hes obviously trying to push you into a troll and derail this thread

What Blizzard said is better evidence than your opinion.

How is advertising better evidence. They are purposely trying to get as many people in as possible. What is better then advertising? HOW THE GAME ACTUALLY PLAYS.

And how it actually plays is you can solo it. You can’t solo every thing but you can a lot of it. It’s always been that way because again, they were trying to be a better version of EverQuest.

You are conflicting “can” with “meant” again.
