Just wondering if there are any other gay players or guilds out there. I would love to play the game with some other fellow Gaymers. <3
(Should have realized we are still apparently in the mid 1800’s and that it was too early for this post. I got the answer from a few people and I will head to Proudmoore. Thanks for those that are not “special” that were willing to assist. )

There’s a guild on WrA called fellow gays. So maybe them idk.
Really? I will look into it. Thank you!
That’s a roleplaying realm, and that particular one isn’t very positive with it’s reputation.
Have you heard of the magical server called Proudmoore?

I have a priest on that server. Is that server known to have any LGBTQ+ guilds?
Oh yeah, definitely known for the gay community. At least on the Alliance side.
Proudmoore is a good bet.

Okay. I’m logging into my Priest to see if this is true. I sure hope they are on Alliance as well.
no, you’re the only gay wow player in the world.

Ehhhh… Considering about 10% of the population is LGBTQ+, I highly doubt that. I sure hope not.
This is a tricky topic for a lot of players.
- First and foremost is the group of players who aren’t going to understand but don’t mean harm. It’s not that they want to be mean for the sake of it but they’ll lack an understanding of why your personal life matters to the game. You know it doesn’t but you’d just like chill people to talk about stuff with without an ounce of judgment or worry about keeping quiet.
- Of course, there are the people who don’t understand and ridicule the idea because they think it’s attention seeking.
- Then the people who know exactly what you’re talking about but don’t think you ought to be making WoW a platform for “the agenda” (my eyes hurt from rolling so hard). They know what you mean, and that people like communities, but they don’t want that community in their game.
- Moving on you have the “gaymers” who may or may not want to put that information onto the forums; at least not in such a big way.
- Then everyone else who just doesn’t really care about the situation.
I don’t have any good resources for you but it might be more solvent to ask around your personal circle. Unfortunately I don’t know of any particularly good guilds that are LGBTQ+ oriented. My own guild is open and accepting but there’s no one around this late in the expansion.
Hope you find what you’re looking for, and don’t get too much disagreement here.
Edit:
An idea occurred to me. Try gong to the WoW subreddit and searching things like “LGBTQ+” or “Gay friendly.” You might be able to sniff out some groups that have posted on there without even having to engage the Reddit community.
