I applied for 30 mins to pugs over and over, but couldn’t get one invite to Dawn of the Infinite.
It this an ilvl reason or does BM have that bad of a reputation? I know could of made my own group, but would it matter if nobody wants to invite BM Hunters?

Ilvl is the main issue . There are many 440+ dps queueing and at 420 you are gonna have a rough time.

So my ilvl needs to be at same level or higher to get in.

A lot of pugs want to guarantee a smooth process so they’ll only invite higher ilevel. With so many people looking for groups though, it would be pretty fast to list your own group and title it learning or something similar
Yes, I can guarantee it’s your ilvl. In the pug world a group is going to always go for the highest ilvl/io score players. A lot of people moan about it but I bet those same people are just as selective for their groups. This is why people say run with guildies/friends.

Unfortunately, it won’t matter how good a player you are. In a PUG list of applicants, the only things that a group leader has to go off is ilvl and Raider.IO and will virtually always go for the highest.
Either start your own group, make a group with friends/guildies if you can, or work on gearing up and increase your ilvl and Raider.IO score.
Good luck!

Having done the dungeon I will say this. Your ilevel is too low for the content. A good ilevel right now would be 435ish for the mega dungeon. At 420 you likely don’ have the health pool for some of the fights.

To add to this: I was just in a M+ 20 with a Demon Hunter who only managed to do 40k dps at ivl 438.
The average DPS in WoW is just extremely bad. Not just performing ~10% worse than they should be, but sometimes doing literally less than half of what they’re capable of. So as much as people hate it, we can’t blame people for having high gear standards for pugs. You can hardly even trust geared DPS let alone people 20 ilvls behind the curve.
Yeah…unfortunately right now in the patch—especially with crests—it’s almost impossible to guess what kind of DPS someone will bring based on ilevel or even score. I just go off of quantity of keys at this point and hope for the best.
Just had a 442 Spriest myself do ~50k in an 18 Underrot. That’s far past not pressing your buttons territory
Yeah had a Rasz mount LFR farm group the other day with a smack talking rogue being impatient and doing the whole “This is last tier why are we even explaining this stop being bad just kick the noobs” because he didn’t like I was taking the time to teach the horrendously undergeared group how to do the fight.
Dude then proceeds to pull in a 40k pass despite being 435 ilvl. Bruh.

Good to know that it not just the spec that was the issue. I will work on getting better gear then.
You need way better gear…a group of people at 420 ilvl is going to get wrecked in there. It may be M0 but that place is probably on par with +15s in other dungeons right now. Don’t be fooled by the lack of a keystone, it’s no joke.
