every time i go there, is empty… not even sure if the rewards are worth it

I think it’s timed. I got the quest to go there and went right over and there was nothing going on.
Opened the map and saw a ‘world quest’ for it and everyone was tap dancing all over the zone. Killed the boss and that was it.
Now that there isnt any player power tied to the open world crap, I’m not doing any of it
i go on the time the event is happening, just a few people but just here and there.
Seems to be hit or miss… from fully camped to barren wasteland.

If you’re talking about the normal elemental storms, and not the recent Primalist Future thingy, my guess would be that a lot of the people who were doing it for sigils have started completing their sets by this point.
I wish they had some dailies tied to it. Sometimes a WQ will be on top of the storm and more people will go. Without a WQ it’s just killing random mobs and they’re mostly elites. Maybe people only go when their rare scanner mod goes off.
Depends on the Storm and location. If the Storm is in an area where other tasks can be completed, there are tons of people. If it’s in an isolated area, it’s rare to see anyone.

If the invasions were mechanically the same as the pre-Legion event then my opinion would be different.
But I find no incentive to participate.
This is a problem that Blizzard has. Events should be active on all continents and allow players to level up with other characters.
While searching for cosmetics or items to use later.
I don’t care if a quest or a book talks about invasions in Feralas. I want to participate directly in such an event. I don’t want to hear about it from a quest or a book.
People go bananas when the storm is over the djaradin for Wrathion/Sabellian quests.

As Ginzo said, it’s timed. Show up when the event is going on and there will be people. Quite a few, actually, since it’s new.
And people ask why world questers need better gear and tier. Just like the 3 pillars, when i have to solo in those areas and kill packs of elites, the better gear i can earn, the easier it is to be able to play when there arent any others around.
Not after I got the Illusion Recipes I wanted from them, now just to farm Grimtotem for the one I want and I’ll be cool.
I’ll muck around in them from time to time to collect elemental overflow. It’s something to do.
I’m doing them to finish the achievement Storm Chaser, although it’s an empty achievement with no reward except a few points. I have 5K+ overflow and 25+ sigils and can’t use any of them. . can’t pass them to alts, have all the pets x 3, have bought the mount/pets. Honestly, at least let me send the overflow to alts. There isn’t anything to do with it by the time you get close to finishing Storm Chaser. And I’m almost done wrapping up that (less than 100 mobs left) . . I have yet to see one enchanting recipe drop. Or any other kind of recipe.
