Decided to put some love into my second spec this week, to make my life easier with high tier Delves and Im finding myself not finding a reason to pick Rend as Mountain Thane.
Is it important at all? Not only in low level content, but also later…
Rend is automatically applied on all targets when you hit that Thunder Clap button you just need to have Rend unlocked in your Talents… not sure why anyone would use Rend as a separate button or not play Mountain Thane as a Tank… if you don’t use Rend you probably have even harder times maintaining aggro.
I understand that, but for TC to give rend, you have to select Rend as a Talent though, which still offers it as its own ability. Correct?
There just isn’t a need to use it on its own or have it in your bars. I just found it weird it didn’t turn it into a passive of TC.
There are a lot of weird things War devs think and do. Dont look for logic when you play a Warrior, war devs dont know what logic is.

Rend is VERY important and a huge part of your DPS as Prot. Thunder Clap automatically applies it to all targets hit. Rend make sup ~15% of your total damage.
