Hey there. Me and a few more friends are in AUS and want to do RP. I am a returner that used to do RP on EU realms, while friends are new to it. We are looking for a guild or community that is either OCE based or time zone friendly.
As there is a big difference with realm time, our afternoons are usually just some night owls casual RP in SW is what I am seeing so far. But maybe there are groups that RP in other places that will be comfortable for us to join.
Don’t quote me as i am not 100% on this but this is from my experience.
I usually see a lot of player activity between 7pm and 2am our time. On average that would be 10am - 5pm yours (+9 hours) when most are in school but getting out or still at work.
Moon Guard operates on Central so the 7pm - 2am bit is the primary window of activity i’ve seen. Weekends are a different story of course.
You may have to post the time that works best for you and see what people respond with when they are online in that time window.

Many events happen in “The Golden Hour” or “Sacred Time” which is usually between 6 pm - 8 pm Server time for the event to start! For us, uh well me in Melbourne 9 am - 12 pm give or take an hour.
It does make it hard to RP in what would be considered our peak time which is after 4 pm when people get off work/school.
I believe there is a discord out there somewhere, I didn’t vibe with it. But here is the card for it https:// oceanicrp . crd.c o/ Not broken up of course. I hope this helps.

I’ve seen a number of AU members in the WRA and MG RP communities over the years. I’ve asked this question multiple times, and find it frustrating that there aren’t any servers dedicated to the AU timezone after all these years.

As an OCE player on Moonguard - I will echo this.
“It is fustrating that there is not an RP realm amongst the Oceanic list”.
That said, MG is unique and whether you visit during peak or off peak, the players that you meet (and broader community you interact with) are like no other.
Pop yourself into one of the larger guilds (any suit your RP preferences) - and there will almost always be someone online.
Off topic: Despite the nation’s (US/AU) being so close, in so many ways - its easy to forget that there are some STRONG cultural differences, so interact accordingly! Also - expect an increase to your latency, unavoidable.
