I’ve always thought pineapple tasted great on pizza
I too go to the wow forums for sound medical advice…
inhale for 10 sec, exhale for 10 sec. do that like 10 times. now chill n take a nap
I am sorry to Heard about it, but you should go to Doctor.
Lol I know right? Bad idea, I’m fully aware. It just gives me another way to distract myself
Just sit and chill, watch your breathing as in just focus on the inhale and exhale. Stop reading WebMD because EVERYTHING is a warning sign for this that or the other thing.
When you feel more relaxed, watch some whole youtube videos like pet videos or stuff like that. Also, herbal teas can really help if you have any around.
Sounds like you have anxiety, its something I have been dealing with for years now. Its no big deal, you will be okay just know you are not alone with that and try if you can to reach out to someone and let them know how you feel.
Youtube has lots of long videos of peaceful meditation type music. You could turn one of those on, lay down in bed and just try to zone out. Focus on steady breathing, clear your mind!
The WoW forums are more likely to stress you out though
Definitely, I take the word of a random internet article lightly. It’s just worrying because stress can mess me up and my heart.
Not many people I can reach out to, especially not at this hour. A little bit as to why I made a post
Square breathing.
Go for a walk (if weather permits it) as it’ll get your blood circulation flowing.
I dunno. These are the WoW forums and I doubt many people in the medical field frequent here (and I’d be skeptical if someone claimed they did. And for clarification, I’m not saying there aren’t … just saying I trust people on the internet about as much as I would a rock strapped to my back while jumping off a boat in the middle of the ocean.)
Gross thing to say to someone with these kinds of issues.
for me i just simply close my eyes and either lay down or sit down and breath in and out slowly and don’t think of anything but just focus on breathing and slowing my heart rate.
i don’t regularly get these but once in a great while i have a hard time breathing idk if it’s because im a heavy smoker or what i assume so. so when that happens i just focus on breathing and lowering my heart rate. otherwise yea it just gets hard to breath feels like im going to die or something.
in my case i think it’s just from smoking + tons of stress + tons of anxiety. both of which from work more then anything. over the years i just learned to not give as much F’s in the sense i don’t let people walk all over me and cause issues i just do my own thing and if they want to get mad at me let um idc.
Best advice I can give for managing stress, anger, PTSD, panic attacks and anxiety attacks:
- Put headphones on.
- Play music.
- Go for a walk.
- Deep breaths while walking.
Don’t stop walking until you feel better.
Sure thing buttercup!
Don’t take any of the advice on how to calm down and go to Urgent Care, or call your doctors’ office advice line. Immediately. It might be nothing, but it could also be something, and you don’t want to meditate and square-breathing yourself into a condition worsening over time.
You are Right! That why People should go to Doctors.
Listen to chill music.
Put on your favorite show. Take a out the book your reading, if you are reading one. Go make food, grab a drink. Do your favorite hobby, whatever that is. Smoke some 420
If you have a legitimate concern go see a doctor asap. That’s the only medical advice you should take off this forum.
I’ll bill your insurance company. You’re welcome.
Very much this. Nothing fast pace. I usually put on Maurice Ravel - Bolero
or
Try this as a breathing exercise. Breath through your nose, exhale through the mouth. Not fast, just normally. That usually calms me down during a panic attack.
That doesn’t sound like a stroke, it sounds like an anxiety attack.
Take in a big deep breath, hold for 6 seconds, and slowly release through your mouth. Do this 4 times.
If possible, lie down and concentrate on clenching and tensing all of your muscles you possibly can for about ten seconds, then slowly release that tension and lay still.
This will trick your body’s fight or flight reflex into thinking its threat has passed, and will help cycle your adrenaline and cortisol out.
If feel you are getting worse, such as extreme dizziness, blacking out, nausea, vomiting, etc, time to hit up the doctor.
He needs to have a medical professional assess the situation and tell him this, not someone’s best guess from limited information typed on a video game forum.
