Any locks that aren't using dreadsteed?

I kinda hate how loud the summon is. And how it costs 100 mana and breaks 5 seconds rule.
and

Also quest is annoying and would require a group at the end. And in general i like forsaken mount more than fire horse.

Thinking about spending more money on regular mount. Anyone esle? Or other locks proud of their unique horse?

I just bought a wolf.

alterac or racial?

square-shaped orcs look pretty silly on thin horses

You definitely wouldn’t be the only one.

On top of the negatives you listed I’m pretty sure if silence while trying to mount it’ll lock you out of shadow.

i will never forgive blizz for ignoring the actual issues Classic has had and instead opting to nerf the Pally and Lock mount particles that nobody cared about

what a world

The Orc racial one.

I use a mechanostrider. Dreadsteed is lame.

It’s nothing to be proud of unless you’re a terrible player. I just saw it as a cost effective way to get to herbs faster, nothing more, nothing less.

I just swapped to a Frostsaber from the Crusader mount. Mostly for the reasons you listed, I didnt want to be kicked in pvp, or unable to mount due to mana. And it’s a little different

I have a wolf, but I bought it way before DM release. Still haven’t done the Dreadsteed quest. Plus orcs look dumb on a horse imo.

I’m not proud of my magical horse but I just don’t have the bag space for a real one.

Felsteed is the best looking mount in Classic and I so wish it was 100% speed.

Dreadsteed is garish, and looks incredibly uncomfortable to ride, but it’s still better than every other Classic mount except the Felsteed.

The Dreadsteed quest is pretty awesome, someone in your guild probably already has the non-consumables. If not, buying a run from a lock who has them is dirt cheap.

The worst mount in all of WoW.

dunno, i love forsaken epic one. Still using rivendaire version in retail, took a lot of runs.

I have the skeletal horse because dreadsteed wasn’t out when I was ready for an epic mount. I’ll prolly never waste the gold on the dreadsteed now.

The dreadsteed and warhorse are simply part of the flavor of vanilla wow. I’m using the warhorse on my paladin, and always will. Likewise when I finally get around to leveling a warlock I’ll only ever use its dreadsteed.

Pro tip you can get the dreadsteed on the cheap usually. Multiple locks can tag the quest complete guy so either group up with some other locks and split the cost or wait for an enterprising lock sellings tags.

Im lazy and just bought my mechanostrider, Dreadsteeds are too tall! You’ve got to feed them, the smell, and they Bite! I’ll take good ol gnomish engineering over a hell horse anyday

It’s okay to be wrong.

Male gnomes have bad opinions.
