I know WoW is 20 years old and has the oldest engine today, my 4060 wouldn’t be so useless if we have like Unreal 5 engine, I know WoW is CPU Bound, but, I think implementing anything with the new technologies we have (real time day/night, like any minecraft shader does), valdrakken with 45 fps on my i3 12100f to 120 fps without any problems, maybe a new graphics engine, (we’ve been using this engine since 2003-ish) and comparing the game from 2004 (GameCube or PlayStation2 era) PC’s from that era were so weak compared to those consoles, I remember my oldest gpu (GT 220 pny) with that TBC Outland Hellfire peninsula background, good times.
I play on Retail, everything on low except textures and spells, fsr1 81% scale and 4x multisampling
but Classic (since it doesn’t do much with GPU (2004 - 2009 textures), shadows at maximum, and rtx high (doesn’t affect or do anything at all) multisamping 8x
I enjoy leveling with maximum graphics but endgame content always be at the lowest for better vision (for my 144hz monitor)
