Any harm in completely skipping Mission Table?

By any harm I mean will I be missing out on any significant achievements or rewards? The table is just so bad this expansion I just don’t want to waste my time with it.

I’d say just do it when you feel like it. It’s how I handle it :man_shrugging:

Gotten everything from pet battle tokens, to anima, to gear from it.

You lose out on mounts and pets, along with (in my opinion) a decent inflow of gold. Been running tables on 5 characters so far, and making decent passive gold from the missions and the enchanting caches/augment runes. You won’t miss out on much as it’s all completely optional, but over time it adds up nicely.

I have not taken it on the two characters. I am missing nothing except mounts and pets. And that is okay with me.

You mean other than skipping a constant, if small, source of anima, money and sometimes even purples?

I’m hardly pushing the envelope in terms of advance, so I was glad to see the ilvl 194 item pop up as a reward. Worst case scenario, an item like that DEs well, or can be sold.

You’ll be missing 100-300 anima per day.

On top of that there are pets and mount rewards that are only earned through the Mission Table.

I did get the 194 bell from it which was a blessing, but yeah it’s nothing amazing you’re missing out on.

Cosmetics/pets mounts etc, some soul ash, anima, gold, and useless gear. So it’s up to you to know if it’s something you’ll miss out on or if it’s not that important to you.

It has Soul Ash—it should have more Soul Ash, for those who refuse to do Torghast

I do it for the anima, but it’s not exactly huge pile. Unless you upgrade the table, you only get 2-4 missions/day that reward about 30 anima for a cost about 12. It’s not game changing. Ditto with the soul ash.

If you rank it up, you get more anima, plus the possibility of things like pets, mounts, and mogs. Me, I’d rather have a portal to Oribos, so I haven’t invested beyond a rank 1 table so far.

You’re missing mounts and pets. WQ and covenant gear are better than what you get from the mission. You get maybe 300ish gold from the gold missions. And the anima is negligible.

This right here. The anima and gear is fairly unimpressive, but if you aim to make gold from it you can pretty easily make thousands of “free” gold per week.

It’s annoying to get more gear I just have to vendor.

Can’t the AI only give better than what we have?

Occasionally you get a mission or adventure or whatever they are called this expansion for Soul Ash.

That’s probably the most useful thing as there’s no other way to obtain it outside of Torghast. But the amounts (at least my level) are paltry. Like 200 Soul Ash for a difficult mission.

I hate the mission table. I miss the old ones. I don’t want to play a separate game totally different from the game I logged on to play. I don’t do pet battles and I don’t like the auto-chess table. I am pretty willing to forgo pets and mounts to not have to do the table. It’s a shame because I was addicted to the companion app in previous expansions.

This toon is almost gear capped, at full renowned, and I don’t do the mission tables. I don’t guess there’s any specific reason to do it if you don’t feel like it.

The last time I did mission tables were back in Legion. Ever since it wasn’t worth it.

It’s not terrible.

I’ve gotten gold, anima, pet charms, and even pets!

It’s simple enough, doesn’t take a lot of time, and gets you some minorly useful items.

I tried to give it a fair shot at first. But I just can’t anymore. I appreciate that they tried to revamp it, but it misses the mark.

To be completely honest, I haven’t enjoyed the feature since WoD. It was really great there! I had a lot of fun with it. But in the subsequent expansions it was simplified to the point where it was just a token nothing addition, and now of course we have the current confused mess.

Like the Garrisons, it was a great feature that helped to define the unique feel of that expansion, but it should have ended there.
