Any good alternatives to WoWhead?

The site just works terribly for me, and for many people in my guild that I’ve asked as well. Very slow and crashes frequently.

Are there any other sites that offer similar functionality?

The only other real alternative is https://www.icy-veins.com/

There is also https://www.mmo-champion.com/content/ but that’s mostly a blue post tracker and forum nowadays

Do you use an adblocker? If not you might find it helps. Also, dont leave it open when you don’t need to.

Get uBlock Origin.

Pretty sure that they disabled that in the latest version of chrome…so they might need to get firefox too

best thing is Youtube is always in a losing war with uBlock Origin.

New version for Chrome is uBlock Origin Lite and it works fine.

Take the jump back to Firefox. The only thing I use chrome for these days is twitch, because I can’t find a twitch adblocker that works on Firefox.

Wowhead has always been a little weird but recently it’s been almost unusable for me, it freezes all my other webpages including wowhead and then crashes. It’s really annoying.

I refuse to use WoWhead

I use YouTube. I usually find what I am seeking in terms of answers there

bro NEVER leave that site open for long EVEN with an adblocker. eventually it causes the script blocker counter to reach 5 digiti numbers and can just freeze the browser. wowhead is probably the worst of the worst when it comes to allowing whoever to advertise alongside mmo-champ.
yeah one time i left it open for about 6ish hours came back and it was around 9.5k scripts blocked.

if they implement client side ads like they seem to want to then ublock only thing theyll be able to do is just block it with noscript. basically the site will become unusable without ads.

Works fine for me still even on youtube
