Haven’t played WoW in sometime and I would love to see how far the game has come which all the updates and such so my question is are there any free gametime trial events going on currently? Money is very tight right now and I can’t truly afford the full amount to buy a month trial, but if there is a way to maybe purchase a week trail, or even a couple day trail, for less I’m sure i can afford that. I even submitted a support ticket and I shouldn’t have I know there’s much more important things that the mods have to focus on but it was worth an ask. Ticket Number: US86151748
You can play for free up to level 20, but that’s the only trial or free to play option available. Due to the nature of the game being as well known as it is, I wouldn’t expect any free-to-play weekends to be available any time soon.
If you have enough gold on your (retail) account, you can purchase a month of game time with that. At the time of my reply, tokens appear to be selling for about 227k gold.
Listing the ticket number won’t do any good here, the New Player forum is strictly player to player for asking and answering questions and no blue posters come here.
Aside from all of that, the only other option would be to shell out the $14.99/month (plus applicable tax/provincial fees). Sorry Rafo.
Edit: Based on your other topic about WotLKC, if you are currently paying the monthly fee to have access to classic, that also gives you access to the retail game. (BFA if you haven’t purchased Shadowlands separately, or Shadowlands if you have.) Shadowlands will likely be rolled into the base game once Dragonflight prepatch goes live, so you’d have access to SL content once that happens as well.
