Any fix for MW/WW talents?

I don’t think WW/MW is getting much tbh. They both will play about the same and probably scale the same. Have Fun.

Fixes like bug fixes? Last I saw the new MW shadowlands stuff still wasn’t functioning properly but that might have been changed in the build today.

WW Talents need a complete overhaul.

15 Tier: should do A LOT more damage

30 Tier: is actually fine

45 Tier:
Just plain boring. FotW is just a boring strike of the windlord. Energizing Elixir should be made baseline in MoP version and add anything else unique.

60 Tier:
Makes no sense and should be completly reworked. Good Karma absolutely has no place in a utility based Talent tier. Remove it and bake it in baseline which makes your Karma 100% of HP and heal you instead of damage when you take damage.

75 Tier:
Inner Strength should be replaced with Healing Elixirs but instead of it being passive make it an active ability with 2 charges. Revert Dampen Harm to WoD version.

90 Tier:
Dance of Chi-Ji is good. Hit Combo needs to be BASELINE and replaced with something else cool. Rushing Jade Wind is outdated and will be never worth picking over Dance of Chi-Ji.

100 Tier:
Serenity should be reverted to WoD design. Whirling Dragon Punch made BASELINE. replaced with Tigereye Brew from early Legion beta with baked in spiritual focus and let you ignore Armor + Haste Buff to compensate basically a version to go away from SEF gameplay. Something else cool added as viable choice for the removal of spiritual focus.

They could do so much to make Talents finally worthful and fun but blizzard just does not give donkey crap

ive been spitballing the idea about when X happens in our rotation, mystic touch is doubled in effectiveness during a window. that way its group/raid utility when monk does X thing. so that way the whole group does more damage during a small window timeframe. something like when touch of death is used mystic touches effect is doubled for 8 seconds. and everyone gets to pile on dps to finish off a target.

if it was just for windwalker and not for brew/mist it would add some much needed punchyness to windwalker and a reason to bring one. the inverse of this is then stacking windwalkers to just piggyback the effect over and over and you end up with the BC shaman situation of 1 shaman in each group in your raid. rotating heroes/bloodlusts.

Basically we are bottom of the classes as MW and WW and it is because of the talents our specs have, they are not at all powerful and important. A 5% melee buff is a joke in most cases and not a reason to have a monk in the party.

So, unless WW/MW get majors buffs to their talents, why even play them? We can’t just rely on borrowed power systems for one tier and hope we will be fine.

Why is no one working on the classes and specs?

Has zero to do with our talents why we are doing bad. Our numbers being low and scaling sucks is why.

A lot of stuff is hurting WW/MW specs right now. However that being said, MW is constantly getting our toolkit given away. We used to have a unique healing style but now Pally has taken that identity. All Blizzard needs to do is give Uplift / Chi back. Having that unique healing style allowed mistweavers to do Okay healing WoD. I’ll take “okay” any day over what we currently have. “Okay” seems to be what WW/MW get to do sometimes.

I’m pretty sure our toolkit being taken away has to do with class population. Also WW has to live in the DH shadow which isn’t helping. I still think DH should never have been introduced as a playable class due to there not being a hole to fill.

You see Shadow Priest getting a rework and yet MW can’t get more than 5mins of attention from devs. MW has been the lowest healer for the last 2 expansions by a great amount. Even our Mythic+ isn’t so hot. Why would the Devs not change or help our mastery to actually work with our healing kit.

The dev’s now only seem to rely of filling gaps by using these new invented borrowed power (SL will introduce temporary talent trees). And when MW find a way to overcome the failed talents, they nerf it asap and yet allow glimer to dominate a whole xpac.

I mean, true. The team that works on class things would be the one making sure the incredibly strong convoke the spirits ability works exactly the way druids want it to. It’s functioning fine but not casting quite the spells you want? No problem we’ll make sure to focus on your spec spells. Oh shoot, did you forget to plan around movement? Did you have to hold your fancy covenant spell for 10 seconds before you could use it again? Okay lets make sure you can cast it while moving, so so sorry for the inconvenience druids.

Bonedust brew isn’t functioning correctly? Even if it was it would be hot garbage? MW Faeline stomp isn’t hitting allies 90% of the time and makes you do the hokey pokey to position it correctly, also it hits like a noodle and the idea of getting a reset isn’t even exciting and the ability makes me want to create this horrible run on sentence just to emphasize the state of it? Weapons of order is basically a raid only spell? And even then loses value in spread fights? Fallen order monks are…bad in every way? Need you to get hit, only cast soothing mist, only heal you, are RNG and feel like dead rolls when you get brewmaster ghosts, make you want to just get WW ghosts even when you’re a healer because they are the only ones that do anything?
Na ain’t got the resources to deal with it.

Just to clarify… This is a Monday: singular not plural. Sometime back in April he popped in, threw out a couple ideas, copy pasted the old crane skill onto a mismatched tooltip and has since gone home to wait for when they call him back for 10.0 changes.
