to reproduce this bug, go to your bank, have a ton of stuff. and then try to use equipment manager to equip something from your bag.
things are showing up that shouldnt, like herbs in the trinket slot,. or 2h weapons in the pants slot
No the bug will be fixed when its fixed they dont give eta becasue people forget its estimated not exact.

yeah but google says this has been a problem for 5 years, i never noticed it until I tried to equip a trinket from my bank to my character via equipment manager (didnt work. was showing tabards in the trinket slot popout).
its been 5 years. no one has even tried to fix it? its probably a simple fix as it seems to be an indexing error.
Heres the thing the blues here dont know about any of this till we usualy do mos they would suggest is a full UI reset to see if it fixes ud be surprised what a FULL UI reset can fix.

First mistake. Google isn’t Blizzard. There are some long-lasting bugs, certainly. But very, very rarely are they all the same as the initial issue that brought it into being. You figure how many hotfixes, patches and even expansions have happened in five years. The game and it’s data is constantly changing. It may have been an issue five years ago, but honestly yours is the first I’ve seen come through here bringing this up in the time I’ve been hanging around these past few years.
It may be a bug created with the new UI revamp. It may be something borked with your UI. The first thing any staff member will ask you to do is a full UI reset Shut down the game and launcher entirely, then follow the instructions in their article. It is not just turning off add-ons, but a way to fully rule out that it’s something on your UI’s end.

yeah but its not my ui, i use base blizzard ui. I have no addons.
