I’m sure I’m not alone in saying that I have all of the characters I’m interested in having already. Still, I’m looking forward to playing Legion Remix, just because I personally loved that expansion.
Well, it would sure be nice to have something new to play around with.
We know that Void Elf Demon Hunters are coming for sure. I would imagine the Horde getting some kind of equivalent; I could totally believe Nightborne would also be trained as Demon Hunters, but if not, I actually have always thought they would make an excellent candidate for the Paladin class. Their culture just perfectly fits the overall themes of the class anyways (even if their reverence for starlight is visually distinct from the usual “holy light” we’re used to seeing).
Like I said, I just feel like these would be fun additions to have to make starting new characters feel a little more worthwhile.
Also, clearly too much work to be practical, but I’ll always advocate for Eredar and Fel Orc Demon Hunters as well!

They won’t unless the new spec launches in prepatch and prepatch happens to be during legion remix.

They should just open up pally for all races at once. That would be nice.

The Devourer Spec won’t likely turn up in Legion Remix (due to Artifact Weapons) though they could allow the Void Elf DH. Though, as there is a quest for them, that’s unlikely too.

Later down the line some time the Horde will get something, but we don’t know what. They didn’t say.
And no, you’re not getting Velf DHs until you go through their questline in Midnight.
Honestly, the Nightborne, at the very least, should get access to Demon Hunters when Void Elves do. Both races have the animations already, and the Fel Borne were a thing during Legion so it’s not like Demon Hunters are something alien to them. There’s little reason I can see why Nightborne can’t have learned stuff from the Illidari even before the Void Elves did.
As for Paladins, if there’s any hope of them getting proliferated in the near future, I’d say it won’t be during Midnight, though Midnight might set up the groundwork for it in the same way The War Within set up the Haranir. Midnight might explore the concept of “eclipse” Paladins mentioned by the Void Elf Paladin NPC Aeonara Dawnshade. If we see any sign of that being mentioned during Midnight, I’d say there’s a fair shot of Paladin proliferation in The Last Titan.
