I really like being able to do big damage as a healer and dealing big damage is the best form of healing since the enemies will be defeated faster therefore they would do less damage to your allies which means there is less healing you will need to do.
It also fits the class fantasy that you are the legendary Farseer of Azeroth, the most powerful shaman to ever live, and lesser shamans summons lesser earth elementals, greater shamans and Farseers summons greater earth elementals, but the leader of all the shamans, can summon a greater earth elemental with a permanent earthquake attached to it!
I don’t mind if they reduce the damage of the earthquake, and for something that can only be used once every five minutes, it is hardly “too powerful” but at the end of the day, I just think it is cool to have a permanent earthquake attached to my greater earth elemental…
What do you think?
I doubt it, looks like they’re done iterating on our trees. Just balancing now.
There’s also the consideration that a lot of people found it very annoying that an offensive cooldown was attached to one of our main pieces of utility, and also that you’d lose it fast even through healing it.
I definitely would prefer the return of vesper totem over deeptremor for a damage talent.

As much as I loved deeptremor, I think depending on tuning we should still be in pretty decent shape for resto damage between acid rain, stormkeeper, and the various damage talents.
Really excited for some acid rain. I know it’ll never be tuned as high as it was in torghast, but it’ll still feel nice to have more use out of healing rain in m+
No thanks. Dwayne was obnoxious
Acid Rain/Stormkeeper on trash will be really good, IMO. However I fear my days out DPSing some of my DPS on boss pulls are at an end. Lol
I am a bit worried that resto will be losing its damage niche as most of it was borrowed power in the shadowlands, but I don’t want deep tremor back. Resto could use another damage talent though, just not deep tremor, I like using earth ele for its utility rather then having to carefully drop it so it doesn’t kill itself and sometimes even stop healing the group to instead keep my earth elemental earthquake value up. If anything I’m a little surprised vesper didn’t make the cut when stuff like that weird bfa essence did.
Rsham is looking fine for damage with stormkeeper and acid rain
