I’ve always liked the idea of hidden items, quests put in the game. Stuff that is so difficult to figure out it might take years. It adds to the mysticism of the world and adventure. Since Classic is building on the foundation of vanilla, does this mean they could add a new mystery?
I can actually see blizz doing this but only very minor inconsequential things that are quite well hidden. They always put easter eggs in the game and I’m sure one or two things might make it in.
No thanks, this would invalidate authentic. I just want old vanilla back.
Classic will still not be 100% authentic no matter how you spin it. This seems pretty picky in my opinion. As long as the devs keep the core values of vanilla in tact, they should be able to add something hidden to the game.
No, it won’t. Obviously. But th at doesn’t mean you get to move the goal posts further away. As authentic as possible. The more you change the less authnetic it is.
And no. Classic is supposed to ge a museum piece. Not a way to develop a new game. Try looking at what blizzard has said agaib
What you just stated is directly opposite of what blizzard has said in the live interviewes which you could have easily watched before spouting misinformation.
No. The code itself isn’t even vanilla code. It runs on a new engine. Therefore my point stands. New and old graphics will be available. You can keep going with this.
You have no point, Setup. Your entire premise is completely made-up and disputed by Blizzard’s own claims for Classic: an exact recreation of the Vanilla experience. They are not making Classic to build off of it. It is a standalone museum piece.
Actually my QUESTION is, will they add hidden stuff to the game? Regardless that is what this question was about. It’s not made up and it’s definitely disputed. Content creators make videos every day about how classic will be. Content rolling out is different than before. If you think this will be exactly the vanilla experience you are severely mistaken.
I wouldn’t mind if Blizzard hid a Guildbank in the Snowy fields of winterspring hidden away from the world, and if players found it and clicked on it, it would just show the BC intro movie.
