I was wondering if there is any future boost to loot for us old people that enjoy soloing most of the game and delvs is really a huge win for us shy people.
I noticed t7 gives on tuesday 610 and t8s give 616 in the vault, any chance a t9 can give 623 and t10 629 and t11 636 (Not that i can do a t11 yet - but if that was the reward, id put all my effort into really trying to do whatever it takes to do one of those bad boys) hah

Have you done zekvir in his lair? Not sure which curio you are missing but there’s one I didn’t get until doing zek
i tried a handful of times with complete failure. Im missing the “relicblood of zekvir”, i know people that only do t4 level and they already have that relic. So its just annoying I am missing that one after doing so many (lost count) t8s. I even did a t10 as you can see from my achievements - attempted t11s but my “tank” cant do enough dps and spending 40 minutes on trash mobs just is a lame duck waiting for the 3 hour boss fight at the end hah
The short version is that T9-T11 is intended to purely be the optional challenge difficulty.

why? if people enjoy doing M+s why would making some other feature of the game destroy someone elses fun?

There are actually very few people that like M+ to keep doing it. I’m willing to bet that most do it for the gear and a mount. If the rewards were superior in Delves they’d migrate to that exclusively and abandon M+.
I’d think the numbers would plummet for M+ to levels lower than ever before.

Because path of least resistance trumps fun in this game, even people who hate M+ still run it for more loot, same happens with delves until Champion gear, got nothing to do with “no one liking” something and everything to do with people wanting more loot faster.
As it stands, even a t10 Delve is more of just pacing yourself than actual mechanical intensity, and that’s by design, make that drop guaranteed hero track loot and then you have to do a M10 to get anything better, and it’s WAY more involved than just sitting down with a cup of joe and killing some health spongey world mobs

I have a buddy that does key 10+s and he never was interested in a delv, he loves doing those high level keys on his shaman healer, I think people that enjoy doing a part of the game would still enjoy doing it, but i do see your point - people will general go to the least resistances for better item levels.
I would love to try a M+ or even an M0 but i fear from what I hear that people will kick you for just taking a wrong turn and everyone is a huge rush to go go go, and I just want to slow down and take it at my own easy pace (which is the main reason I like doing delvs)

I’d actually be ok with just having a t10 drop a few gilded crests. Mainly so I can unlock mythic appearances. Or even just have a chance to drop pieces of the mythic appearance as cosmetics, which might keep anti-delve players from frothing at the mouth and claiming they’re “forced” to do them.

Generally, i have not had this experience with low end keys, but that was before the key squish, where people at that play level would happily sit in the 2-10 range and have fun over the whole season running them, nowadays a +2 is much harder than last season and it’s causing a lot more salt and frustration than ever before in the lower rungs as far as i hear
I say give it a shot, maybe find a friend or two in the same boat, run it with them, host your own keys and don’t care what people have to say unless it’s genuine constructive advice “We can skip this pack to save time” vs “WHY DID YOU PULL THAT?!”

i’d be down for that too, gilded crests having a slower but more chill farm’d be neat, considering how many dummies RQ keys that aren’t going to time and waste everyone else’s time getting 0 crests instead of at least 5

The rewards will go up when season 2 drops. If you are wanting better gear from Delves than what you can get in other areas of the game then that wont happen.
If the easiest content in the game also gave the best gear in the game, then there would be little incentive to grind out M+ or mythic raids every week.
And before someone suggests that people should only do content they want and not chase gear, I would remind you that you’re doing the same thing by asking for better gear from delves.

Getting that high of item level wouldn’t fit the challenge. I would say the number of crest can be upped and higher crests to make out hero track gear from delves would be great. I think mythic gear needs to stay at the mythic plus and mythic raiding as those rewards fit the challenge.
Don’t know about gear, but delves should definitely drop at least 1 more crest per level.

They aren’t going to kick you from an M+ because they can’t replace you without restarting the key from scratch (if it’s a 2, 3 or higher the key also downgrades)
