Any advice on how to figure out gearing path

Does anyone have any recommendations on guides or videos on a clear path on how to gear up now, i resubbed at the end of last season and did all the season quest to 424 but now im totally lost on a clear path, the new raid offers less ilvl than heroic dungeons and timewalking and some gear is 1/8 while other pieces drop at 4/8 and i cant upgrade them because there are 4 different resources i don’t know what does what while i can need on lower ilvl gear but is it actually an upgrade when its 20 ilvls lower?

a good place to start would be for you to do the mythic zero dungeons.

you have to fully form a group in LFG for each of the dungeons - that will give you a good amount of ilvl - once you get a few pieces from those, you should be good enough to start trying mythic +2s.

You can do each mythic zero once a week.

  1. Brackenhide hollow
  2. Dawn of the infinite
  3. Algethar Academy
  4. Azure vault
  5. Nokhud Offensive
  6. Ruby Life Pools
  7. Halls of Infusion
  8. Uldaman
  9. neltharus

Mythic zero drops 493 ilvl gear (baseline and it can be upgraded to 515)

then you can just keep going up in levels on the mythic plus keys.

  1. Be geared from Season 3.
  2. Clear Awakened Looking For Raid.
  3. Clear Awakened Normal.
  4. Kill two to six bosses on Awakened Heroic.
  5. Run Mythic Keystone dungeons.
  6. Open the Great Vault after the weekly reset.
  7. Repeat steps two to seven.

Do the 5 dungeon timewalking quest. Do the black temple raid timewalking version and make sure to pick up the associated quest (free heroic piece the raid is really easy. if you can’t get an invite just start one up and let the magic happen) Do heroics or honestly just skip to m0s. Do lfr/normal awakened vault for tier pieces. Do M+ if you have the ilvl for it. keep in mind a +2 is now meant to be like a +12 iirc.

thanks for the response done the timewalking and did awakened so ill need to get a group together for mythic 0 in a few days for a few hours.
