Any addons that help track what mounts you can farm for the week?

I’ve been getting back into mount farming. I was looking for an addon that shows the raids/bosses (that drop a mount) that I haven’t cleared for the week/day. Similar to some sort of checklist. I was wondering if anyone that knows of an addon that exists for this purpose. I have multiple characters and remembering each and everyone raid can be a headache. I looked on Twitch but the only one that I could find there hasn’t been updated since like 2016. If one doesn’t exist I’ll just make a list by hand.

Rarity I think lets you know what you have and how many times you attempted the ones you don’t have.

Not sure if there is one that lets you know what you can go after for the week though.

I would second Rarity. Very informative and useful mod.

There IS one, sorry I don’t recall the name, that not only generates a list of what you don’t have, but actually will tell you the ROUTE you should do that is most efficient to farm all the things on the list! It was a really neat mod, but I simply don’t play that way.

I farm 1-2 things and that’s what I have time for. I can’t imagine actually running a route and farming 20-50 or more mounts/pets.

But more power to you if you have that much free time.

Also note: the default UI will track the things you did last week/recently. So, for example, I ran AQ40, Firelands, and SoO last week. When I log in this week, the Raid UI still lists all of those raids, they’re just greyed out. You can use this to know which you have and haven’t run yet; once you run them, they turn yellow and the UI tells you which bosses you have killed and which you have not.

I would venture for 90% of people, just the default UI is enough. But Rarity provides some fun statistics along the way.

that’s exactly what I want!

Just tab out and google a instance for a wow head link.

I use instance portals for the raid locations.

Calendar kinda makes a list for you if you remember what mount is from what instance.

:smirk:

I can’t possibly think of a more inefficient way to do it. lol

At least with Rarity, it will list EVERY mount in its own category; and every pet in its own category; and every Toy in its own category. You can then mouse over the ones you want and it will tell you a TON of information. What instance it drops from, what difficulty (some things you can get in LFR, some you can’t, etc), what the %-drop-rate is, and on and on and on.

Again, Rarity is a really good mod. Just randomly googling instances … uh, no.

Just to add there is ALLTHETHINGS that lists your daily/weekly/meta achieves/trangsmog/mounts you still need

It’s not an addon, but I find Simple Armory to be quite helpful while mount hunting.

You can check the ‘show planner’ box, and it’ll give you a plan to run for that week to farm what you are still missing.

I like this, I just wish that HUGE window didn’t pop open when your mouse hovers over its map icon… Wish it was a click instead.

If you type /raidinfo it’ll tell you what bosses you killed this week. Not sure if it’ll help for your daily farms but it’s an in game way to track raid bosses without needing to download an addon.

I wouldn’t say its inefficient sir, it takes like 5 seconds. LOL. …

I don’t know how up to date it is, but there used to be one called Saved Instances I used. It won’t tell you about mounts, but it showed you which raids, world bosses, and stuff you’re saved to, and even which ones your alts are saved to.

All the things will just make you sad.
Don’t install that :frowning:

I had this problem, too, at first. It was because I installed it on the LEFT side of the map… so you naturally drag your mouse over it.

Move the icon to the right side of the map, and the problem basically goes away.

There is also an addon that lets you put the icons in a sliding bar, so you can truly keep it out of the way.

edit: YES!!! Simply Armory was what I was talking about before! :^)
