Any add on that makes my cursor flash on map?

For some reason in particular in Undermine I can not find my cursor for the life of me. Any way to make it flash or change it to a bright color?

There is a setting in windows that makes your cursor… give off a signal by pressing the “Ctrl” key. You could try that.

I have the same problem, OP. when I open my map to find out where I need to go it takes me sometimes a long time to find where I am to orient myself.

the map is so busy and the cursor doesn’t stand out enough.

that said, I don’t know of an addon to fix this. There are weak auras to change your actual cursor, but not the cursor marker on the world map.

There’s a weak aura that puts a target thing around your cursor. I don’t lose the pointer in WOW anymore after installing it. Takes a little bit to get used to but it’s awesome.

There used to be a addon that made your cursor sparkle. Not sure what happen to it. I had to download it once cause the cursor is so hard to find. I may look for it again on curseforge.

Don’t need an addon for this, you can just make the in-game cursor larger. It’s in the general settings of the game under “Cursor Size.”

Look for Addon called “CursorTrail” on Curseforge.

Hello all it’s not the in game cursor it’s the map cursor. I don’t have issues with the world mouse cursor. I open the map in undermine in particular and am saying to myself where tf am I more often then not.

Same here. It used to be when I opened the map, a “target” would flash so I could easily find my location. I don’t know where it went or why it doesn’t do it anymore, but I need it back.

Edit: Randomly I right clicked on the map to zoom out. Didn’t want that, so I hit “M” to close the map and “M” to open it back up and it did the flashing target thing… Tried it a few more times and it works – but only if you zoom out, close the map and reopen it… Very odd behavior.

if you mean ARROW on map idk even tested other ones that are suppose to make arrow bigger but didnt work correctly

Alright… none of y’all understood what the OP is looking for, because they mistakenly said cursor. That’s OP’s miscommunication, but I thought I’d clear it up.

They don’t care about the cursor. They’re talking about the tiny grey arrow on the world map that signifies where you’re at on the map.

Which… as far as I know… cannot be changed. I wish it could, because it really does blend in quite often.

but agree it blends it TO OFTEN and needs fixed blizzard need to do something

I have a hard time finding that little arrow on the minimap too, misunderstood the question.

Guys, they’re talking about finding their location on the map. Used to be that when you opened it, the marker for you, the little arrow cursor, would ping and circles would radiate from it like when you ping the minimap.

It does not do this in Undermine. I cannot find myself on that map for the life of me as a result.

I am having a similar issue in the undermine where I cannot find myself on the map easily… Is there an addon to make my player icon bigger on the map?
