So the first boss in the raid has almost 5M hp, although his abilities do very little, the boss heath is way to high/there is no damage scaling for a level 60 player so that makes the fight really really long.
Edit: So after working around the long timers to kill Argimmar, Argus scythe in the dungeon journal says it does 13k “Sweeping scythe” but when I was hit by one in phase 3, it one shot my tank with a dr up, looking at the death log, it said that “Soulrending Scythe” the phase 3 version of sweeping does 335k… that is not scaled correctly
When you get 1 shot by a mecahnic on a 251 DH on phase 3, the fight isnt scaled properly as the death log values are different the dungeon journal
tbh seems like a gear or skill issue, i dont think anyones had issues soloing annihilator since like 8.2. In prepatch it was a little scuffed but you’re probably just doing really low dps
Yeah, odd because I have farmed raids that were 2 expansions old for years and I expected a similar scaling with these changes but I would even struggle to try to do this on my main.
Edit: yeah 251 DH died phase 3 20% after he did 80k Sweeping… this is not soloable like they said. (I did it current, i do mechanics and saved cds for phase 3 goign to wait fo rthem to actually fix it it seems)
mate are you high? or wearing broken gear? i killed it last week and just then an hour ago and had no issues killing every boss including argus, aggramar was probably the only hard boss along the way apart from eonar
hit up any pre-Legion raid. the bosses are debuffed. we were told this would happen to every raid that was 2 expacs old… which Legion is. and yet, no debuff.
so they either changed their minds and didn’t tell us, some dev wasn’t given the memo, they forgot, or they lied. hard to tell these days.
Are you surprised that Blizzard is cheaping out and not keeping up with their legacy raid system like they promised they would? I suspect they’re in a mad scramble to just get 9.2 released in an only semi-absurd length of time. Between the lockdowns, their current legal drama, and the fact that they’re a cheap company who likes to underpay or lay off employees to cut costs, I suspect WoW’s dev team is really hurting to keep the ship upright.
