Not true at all y’all just have 0 idea how discord gdkps work.
So you can’t have an opinion about the impact of the ban being mostly positive while still acknowledging the system did have positives?
Not everything is so black and white.
Grow up.
Fixed it for you.
He keeps promising to unsubscribe as well but here we are again with another thread from him beating that poor old horse.
Gdkps kinda killed guilds nobody wanted to join a guild to raid when they could raid and get paid absolutely FAT and use the gold to either buy ez gear fro gdkps with mostly carries 500g a piece for my bwl and id make like 15k healing
are you smelling burnt toast?
It also created a weird loop where all you did was Raid log to get Gold so you could then take that Gold to raid log on Alts ad nauseam. There was no reason to farm or do anything else.
I’d prefer if Blizz just made a version of there game for Parsers where GDKP is allowed. Give them the Token as well. They get all toons at cap with no leveling needed and can then just spend all their time trying to parse on multiple Classes each week.
ok but how is that morally indefensible compared to
why does one have to be banned and not the other?
You either are for banning it and removing the agency from the player or you aren’t. You can see the pros an cons, sure. But at the end of the day you are arguing in favor of it, so clearly you are supportive of removing the choice from players. That’s cringe in my view. And I’m expressing that view on the forums. You seem to have a problem with this.
I did unsubscribe, after resubbing for p3 to see if it was going to improve. Nope, still a nanny state with zero communication regarding this failed policy.
In other words, people were having fun playing the way they enjoy and you don’t like it?
I am arguing in favor of the developer’s right to make changes to the game how they see fit without an angry man-child telling everyone on the internet that they’re wrong for understanding the Dev’s point of view.
Good News Bergelmir!!
I just heard they have GDKP in Cataclysm Classic!!!
That comes out tomorrow!!!
I leveled my warrior from 40-50 from just doing incursions. I had well over 200g. When I was done, I was able to buy the full Emerald Warden set and bunch of other items off the AH that made me raid ready in minutes.
When I need money for consumes, an hour or 2 of loops should net another 30-40g easily.
OP has a need to cry about GDKP and act as if the anti-GDKP don’t care about other forms of RMT. As I have said before, the AH is monitored for illicit gold. It’s not perfect and while I wish it were, it is far less of an issue than literally thousands of gold being bought to go spend in a raid. Anyone caught gold buying should be banned for 6 months minimum. Get the riffraff out.
Can I just get a token added to SoD?
I would much rather spend 20-40 bucks a month and be set than to waste time grinding.
Oh man. I wouldn’t have to farm demons or elementals or nothing. What a glorious day.
Just level up. Do my rep grinds, if necessary, and go raid or battle ground.
A boy can dream.
glad the antigdkp arguments boil down to “stay mad swiper”, “if you don’t like it play another version of the game”, and “they’re bad for the economy because they just are, trust me”, glad we make changes with these intellectual titans in mind!
There’s plenty of other options for this in other versions of WoW. Classic is not meant to be this way.
While it being a seasonal server with characters potentially having a server to transfer to continue on later, I think they should increase materials dropped from nodes by a large portion and increase rep gains across the board. That would help a bit on inflation of materials.
You’re forgetting how much enjoyment the qq brings to the forums.
people cry on the forums about literally everything, has nothing to do w gdkp
I call BS.
Why would you need to re-sub to see if things improved? Just look at the patch notes?
The GDKP qq is pretty special though.
True, both sides of the fight have more responses involved than…just about any other topic. Ever
It’s pretty great.
