WPvP should never be fair or balanced. If you have top end mythic raid gear, you should be able to stomp 4 people in LFR and lower gear. The only people who should have a chance at winning are heroic-mythic geared players.
If you have 2 people with about the same gear the one who wins will be determined by skill and class knowledge.

If they wanted to make scaling ineffective like so i would not like it as being altoholic i never really prioritise gear enough however they could also do this and add an instance sorting system as in say 390-410 ilvl players will be sorted into one instance and so forth therefore creating a level balance that is only really influenced by stat prioritisation and traits.
That defeats the purpose of WPvP.
What is the purpose of WPvP, is not to PvP in the world?
Cant pvp in the world of you are separating players.
I’m sorry, whats your point? Cus you sure as fish aren’t taking on 4 people at the same time, not as a 111. Also i don’t think any complaints about WPVP have ever been about gear. Only about being lopsided.
Separating players in separate worlds where they can PvP.
Fairness incentivizes participation, you would see a massive decline in WPvP for a very long time while the majority of the player base is unable to compete due to gear disparity which would then result in the top geared players not finding anyone to WPvP against.
I can go as my main 120. (Ignore ilvl atm. Hurricane barry knocked out power for 2 days and ruined my raiding week. Still have no internet.)
WPvP isn’t meant to be fair. If it was then 120s wouldn’t be able to kill leveling players.
Basically he’s the alt of a mythic raider who’s upset that actual pvpers are beating the carp out of him in a wpvp situation. He wants that fixed so he wins all encounters.
Nope. Not a mythic raider. This is my main.
That is a fallacy to this argument for it offers a completely different variable irrelevant to the discussion.
I am not arguing about the ethics of being fair of whether it is right or wrong i am arguing as to why fairness is important to WPvP demographically.
Which being able to kill low level players falls under and one of the main arguments brought up when discussing WPvP and fairness.
And WPvP isn’t supposed to be for everyone. Its built for people like me who joined for the unfair nature. BGs and arenas were created for balance and fairness.
I liked it when wPvP included 120s being wrecked by 110s with legos.
If WPvP isn’t supposed to be for everyone then why do they continuously add incentive for everyone to participate in it, including low level players.
Low levels shouldn’t scale in proportion to say 120’s but that is because both have different equity when it comes to gear, abilities, etc and making something in scale when such a disparity in more than ilevel exists doesn’t work and is hard to do.
Look at it in an analogy, like pretty much any competitive PvP in games or real life it is divisional. You can’t have national teams playing against local clubs for it removes incentive for both to play, one has no competition and the other is out competed to a large degree. Divisional sorting is a system of fairness and therefore any other video game that doesn’t say have divisional sorting has a completely different rate of progression such as a survival game.
WPvP isn’t necessarily supposed to be a contrasting system compared to offer alternative to divisional systems it is supposed to be another area a player can access PvP while also completing PvE content thus why scaling exists for it isn’t about systemic difference but about having more opportunity to PvP, otherwise why would Blizzard make it in scale?
The only reason they are adding incentives to WPvP now is because they have ruined it over the years. WPvP used to be equal with the occasional server being somewhat one sided. Racials and flying may have put a dent in the population but what really hurt pvp servers was the expansions.
Say what you want about racials and flying but, the drop in player base has been the biggest hit to pvp servers. Cata was fine. Mop added crz which really only ruined rare farming and pvp list. But, CRZ in WoD would be felt hard on PvP servers.
After that, they tried to remedy it with sharding in legion and bonuses in BFA for WPvP. Which brings us to where we are today.
