hey, thanks for letting us know. bye.

one time i got banned from an applebees

The last time I went to an Applebees I was like 10 or some tiny age and they gave me a still frozen corndog. Never been back since.

Download just completed for me. I have every job including crafting at max level from the Heavensward expansion though so I’m not far from catching up to the current content.

soooo… is this a forum friendly story?

I stopped going when they took fiesta lime chicken off the 2 for $20 menu

those jerks.

Don’t listen to her. I demand all of the sordid terrible details! Hold nothing back.

Another day another “Gonna be edgy and mention FFIX” post.

I’m always super edgy when I talk about Final Fantasy 9 as well.

Is it like in Talladega Nights?

let’s force them to release an unfinish product and then complain on forums about how everything is broken and accuse them of rushing. Sometime people just don’t think.

Alright, I gotta set the stage. When this story took place, I was a young lad (22 or 23, I can’t remember) full of vim and vigor and had not yet learned how to moderate my alcohol consumption or how to moderate my behavior once the sauce set in. I used to work at a grocery store; right next door was a Mexican restaurant, and across the parking lot was the Applebees in question.

One day I hear that the Mexican restaurant is offering buy-one-get-one margaritas of any size, so a few of my work buddies and I decided to go for a drink after our shift was over. In my infinite wisdom, I decide to order a 32 ounce margarita, because it maximizes the amount of free margarita that I get. The problem was that I underestimated how much 32 ounces actually was, and as soon as I see the two giant cactus glasses holding a combined 64 ounces of marg, I immediately knew that I wasn’t gonna finish.

But mama didn’t raise no punk, and I’ll be damned if I didn’t try.

I made it through about a glass and a half, at which point I felt very pleasantly inebriated. The restaurant manager announced that they were closing, so I got out of the booth, and the inebriation turned to full on drunkenness as soon as I stood up. I distinctly remember yelling out a very slurred “WOW” as I made my way out of the restaurant.

Now, my coworkers were nowhere near as messed up as I was. They wanted to go somewhere else and keep drinking, and since the Applebees was right there, we all decided to go. Well, they decided, and since I wasn’t really capable of making rational choices, I followed them.

I stumble into the Applebees, flub my way into a bar stool, and order a vodka shot. I don’t like shots, so I don’t know why I ordered this. But the bartender obliges, though she’s giving me the side-eye, and I down it. Right after this, I realize the horrible mistake I’ve made. I’m going to throw up. It could be in the next 15 seconds, it could be in the next hour, but 48 ounces of tasty margarita and the shrimp I had for dinner were gonna go out the way they went in. I wasn’t looking forward to this. I don’t like throwing up. Everything about the process disgusts me, and no amount of inebriation can convince me to feel otherwise.

I order another vodka shot.

The bartender looks at me and says, “No.” I’m very confused. I clearly ordered another shot. Where’s my shot? I want my shot. So I order the shot again. “No,” she says, a little more insistent. And at this point I lost it. I called her all kinds of names, I said a bunch of mean things about her… at least, I think I did. I’m close to passing out at this point, I don’t remember exactly what I said, and my speech was likely so slurred that very few words would’ve been intelligible.

Still, I think the bartender got the message, because she got a lot more hostile towards me. I open my mouth to say something witty… and projectile vomited all over that poor woman. Pretty sure I did it twice. I think what I did afterwards was point at her, giggle, and say something like “you should probably clean up your daddy issues”, but who the hell knows. At any rate, she stormed out and got the manager, the manager said something to the effect of “Don’t ever come back,” and henceforth I was no longer welcome at that Applebees.

My coworkers, rightfully mortified at my behavior, apologized and left along with me, and one of them who hadn’t been drinking gave me a ride home. While I was trying to walk to the backdoor of my house, my world turned upside down and I fell. Afterwards, I thought that my backyard was a great place to go to sleep, so I did. The next morning my mom saw me out in the yard and thought I was dead, so she shook me and yelled at me until I woke up, at which point she slapped me for making her think I was dead.

The End.

Honestly, we don’t need these blog posts on updates CM’s.

Do your jobs lol

oh my god that story was awesome.
that poor bartender

I have… nothing comparable. I have a friend who got drunk and decided to go fishing in the koi pond at bass pro… but I can’t claim that one as my own.
