My point is over population is the real problem, not faction balance.
A server of 6000 players is over-populated.
A server of 4000 players is over-populated.
A server of 2000 players is approaching correct population but still heavy.
The game world was designed for closer to 1000-1500 players, you put 4-6 times that many in the same space and every minor problem blows up into much larger ones.
The issue is over-population. People won’t move because they fear “dead server” when in reality, those servers have populations that are closer to what vanilla actually had and they were totally healthy.
I dunno what details you want, I’d land at a FP and instantly die, maybe a horde group rolled up and cleared it out, and I could rez and get along with my chores…but then another group of 10 alliance would see me, roll up and I’d die. This would happen 3-4 times before I crossed the length of the zone. They ran from the pack of horde if it came for them and just looked for solo’s to slaughter, day in and day out at all hours of the day. What more details would you like? The issue wasn’t alliance domination though, it was over-population.
The fact you are outnumbered wouldn’t matter if there was 4x less people there to kill you.
