This is absolutely killing the fun I was having in AV. I’d rather lose honorably to a premade that I know had to go through normal mechanics than watch Blizzard allow people to “cleverly use game mechanics” to cheese Drek pull. Cancelling until they actually fix this. No you can’t have my stuff.

I mean I play both factions, and I still think AV is trash. Keep in mind, Blizzard did fix this very issue in a later patch.

How come I do not see Horde crying for the change to the terrain exploit I see every match to get to our GY and bunkers? That is the true exploit.
When was this? The first day?
you must be just trolling. Alli has the obvious terrain and layout advantage with the bridge and towers in the N. Those archers can hit us from the middle of the bridge.

It’s bad map design, and a cheese strat.
Whats really sad is it would be super easy to fix by just extending the fence over the waterfall. Or if they don’t want to ruin the aesthetic, just put an invisible wall there.
Just stay gone. Don’t need whiners. This is classic, not BFA. You should have already known what “warts and all” means. If not, well, here’s a life lesson.
What I am talking about. Those archers are already dead before you guys start crossing that bridge. Always horde that cheat to go up from behind and take out the archers within 5 minutes of a match. Most pug matches I have been in, Alliance don’t even make it to Frostwolf GY.
Can’t complain about exploiting terrain when your doing it yourselves. Deal with it.

Honestly though, if you want to be taken seriously show me your outrage at the Horde being able to do the same thing.
Also, while they are fixing things make it so horde get a 10-30 minute debuff preventing them from entering a BG debuff while engaging in wPvP. Tired of watching rogues fail to gank me at FP’s and disappearing into AV near death while im in the middle of a blind.

They can’t cheese the pull if you’re all there waiting for them at the keep. It’s a succession of things that needs to be in place for it to even work. There’s a reason this doesn’t get direct attention. This is an exchange of strategies. You’re just not trying hard enough on your end. Honestly, please find a way to counter it, because I don’t want it to exist either.
Horde exploits good, Alliance knowing how to kite baaaad.

You understand that Blizzard CAN’T create custom games for each player. The technology to do that doesn’t exist in 2020.
And you are asking for “a custom game”. For every 1000 players that agree with you, there are 1000 other players that think some OTHER thing is more important to “fix”. And so on. Also, what you call a “fix”, other players call a “break”. It is impossible to please everyone. Literally impossible.
But you personally can decided that only a custom game would not “kill your fun”, and quit Classic because it doesn’t offer that. Good for you!
PS – of course any “fix” would be in retail. Classic is not a “fixable” game. Classic is a copy of an old game, NOT an improvement or “better” game. That is even more reason for you to quit!
Personally I wish they’d just fix all the exploits so that the best strategy was to… wait for it… play the game.

There’s actually fairly easy ways to fix all this that wouldn’t run afoul of the whole “no changes” mantra, because it preserves the spirit of the game. Blizzard has always held the spirit of the game in high regard, and takes action when necessary.
Why do you need world buffs? You are on a PvP server. No reason for you to be in dungeons. Those are for PvE players.
You can literally avoid all of them with the backdoor. You’re argument is pointless, and the horde can also cheese Van.
The “back door” is not common knowledge and even if you are aware of its existence you can’t “accidently” find it. You have to KNOW exactly where it is and get the jump right and hope the OPFOR doesn’t notice you are doing it.
The back door for ALLIANCE is not common knowledge, fixed that for you. You could as a horde literally watch the map and see whats happening and figure it out if you had any common sense. But people don’t and just wanna complain.
This post is five months old. That whiner got what he wanted (premades nerfed), and probably won’t ever be coming back to the forums.
What you are saying isn’t true. If you do NOT know where it is, you won’t find the place to jump, it is not intuitive like you suggest.
