I am sure glad that everything in the game is running perfectly well and all your customers are as happy as little clams running around playing in the paradise that you have created for them. There isn’t another care in the world!
I suppose that is why you spend the majority of your time rolling out new STORE ONLY mounts to SELL to people instead of actually working to improve the game!
Priorities Blizzard. You look stunningly tone deaf coming out with yet ANOTHER real money store mount with so many glaring issues with the game itself. I also suppose it never occurred to you to give people who already PAY to play your game something new as well? I guess not. As long as you make another buck, eh?

People are still losing their minds over a recolour of a mount we literally just got today and it’s a recolour that will be on the TP later on (probably next love is in the air next year).

If people are willing to pay premium prices on slop, why would you start cooking steaks?
Sadly the WoW community is more than happy to gobble down this slop.
Look at this thread for example. Less than 20 minutes old and already got 5 people defending recolored $30 store mounts.

There’s a new mount and mog bundle on the store. It’s almost good enough to get me to spend actual money on a mount and mog.

Because the alternative is a monthly subscription for everyone priced around 25-30$. Like it or not, even big companies are affected by inflation … but Blizzard has kept the monthly subscription the same and, arguably with the introduction of the WoW token, even made it so folks can play the game for less than a monthly subscription.
This means more stuff that otherwise wouldn’t have been created at all to be available for us. Some players buy it for money, and others now with the introduction of the monthly trader … most if not all of the store mounts and transmogs will eventually show up on it for Tenders.
Considering the realities I stated above … no one is defending anything. Because we don’t have to. It is quite literally just the best deal that’s realistically possible, unless you wanna talk politics but this isn’t a political science forum so… probably best not to. So yah, there’s no defending anything because quite literally, if you don’t like it … don’t buy it. Others will, and those who do means makes it so that the subscription cost remains the same it has always been.
Not to mention this on top of everything else as well.

The shop turns 15 this year as it was introduced in 2009. It is safe to say they will continue to add cosmetics to it for the duration of the game. Heck just a few years ago, people on this site were saying it should be filled with cosmetic armor like the one provided for Final Fantasy.
Why are you outraged over something you don’t need to buy?

Entitled much? Here’s the thing. Mounts and armor are an amazing way to train new graphic artists and earn money on it. You want said graphic artists to code cause you are offended at a non required mount that’s a reskin exists? Grow up a bit.
DF is too good so they have to resort to complaining about store mount colors and other trivial matters
