Your entire dmg kit is based on catching ppl off guard. Its pure cheese and skilless
it isn’t, though. It’s burst, sure.

No different than BM hunter outside of overall being more unavoidable, one is just burst, the other sustain

Yeh sustain is much more managable for the entire pvp community.
Lets be real here, average players are not insta popping defensives against rets sometimes when they are in a bg or 3’s match because there is so much to focus on. Rets BURST catches ppl off guard all the time and insta gibs them. Its stupid up front dmg. Sustain dmg is slow, steady, i agree BM’s is too unavoidable but we arent talking about bm here.
Rets global ppl you have seen the videos, ALLL the evidence is on videos posted how rets global 3-4 ppl at a time etc. If you think that dmg is fine just cos the top rated guys can “deal” with it then you are part of the reason this games dead or dying

Im saying the unhealthy levels of burst are crap for the game. You love it ofc when you 1 tap someone. Makes you feel all warm and fuzzy
I didn’t even think hunters complained about ret pallys. We have a lot of mobility to avoid things.

I don’t agree with this at all; I think high sustained is way harder to deal with. When i know there are clear defined times i can die, I tihnk its super easy to trade defensives and then be aggro. When im afraid for my life the entire time, it’s way harder to find windows to attack.
That doesn’t happen without a gear differential. Necro ret/war or ret+rsham can definitely 2shot people, but again it’s incredibly telegraphed.
I do actually think ret is overtuned atm, but not because of their damage. It’s their offhealing on top of having sanc + freedom as utility (and that INSANE judge dispell in 9.1). I just dont think they need all 3.

They can global you from range dude. I had one kited and he still 2 tapped me. Range dont do jack anymore blizz made ret a ranged class
I think you take the game a little too seriously, but no I don’t particularly like ret burst rn, ive been pretty open about that. You have a weird tendency to latch onto this
