I don’t know how much reputation you can get with the Flame’s Radiance faction, but so far it seems timegated. We don’t want all these renowns, just make mobs drop items that can be farmed and exchanged for items, like you’ve done in the past.
Its only up to level 10 though. It’ll fly by
You don’t have to do it if you don’t like it, it’s not m+ or raids and isn’t going to get you any BiS gear, it’s entirely optional
Pretty much sums up the thread
100% correct. But it doesn’t entirely excuse yet another dreadfully boring “event” on par with Worldsoul Memories being added to the game.
Go to place. Fight monster 10 minute. Fill bar. Good dog.
Too busy being a wage slave in Undermine, the Arathi are on their own for now. Why are the undermine grinds so savage if they intended to machine gun reps at us?
Nope. Did it twice. Never again. Worst content I’ve experienced in a good while.
Okay maybe not SL-quality bad but still bad. Strong no thank you.
The “don’t like it, don’t do it” mentality is basically why Blizzard keeps doing this. Everything in life is optional if you really think about it, doesn’t mean there won’t be consequences.
What do you expect them to do for an x.x.5 patch? I agree it’s not the most exhilarating content but you’ve still got a pretty fresh raid, m+, mog runs, noblegarden I guess. You can’t expect something like a new dungeon or tons of balancing changes from a patch like this
Why cant we expect it? Its not a free to play game right?
It’s just not reasonable, how often do you want new raids or dungeons? You expect them to just churn one out every few months? That’d be neat but it’d also make you feel like you’re just rushing through the game especially when m+ is in the equation and you’ve gotta learn pathing and strats for every new one
The game as a whole is entirely optional. They keep phoning it in and people will keep moving on to other games.
Renown tracks are fine. It’s good to know what I’ve earned and what I can look forward to earning, etc. Rather than just looking at a small reputation bar and waiting for it to change through the stages from neutral to exalted.
I did get one of the trinkets to see how it performed, since it’s an effect that doesn’t exactly specify what it does: A shadowy orb assists you in combat.
It added 75 Crit Rating. Not a %, just…75. 75 Crit is not exactly helping me push numbers, especially since the trinket offers no base stats at all.
It’s not even good gear for alts. Baffling.
The shining arathor whatever trinket champion track is pretty nice because it procs a lot
I think this is a really good question.
First MMO?
Isnʻt every M+ dungeon just a rehashed old dungeon that most of us have already done? Plus new mechanics and timers? Aside from that, do they add anything extra to a dungeon to make it M+ worthy?
I much prefer renown tracks to simple reputations that have a bar and nothing else. I mean, why not have extra info and more successes.
The old standard of Friendly Honored Revered Exalted could completely disappear as far as I care, if it was all replaced with numeric renown tracks.
Yes. 20 years ago.
With the exception of Silithyst Hauling PvP in Vanilla, I don’t recall these sorts of brain numbing activities until dragonflight prepatch. And they’ve gotten even more phoned-in during the TWW era.
