Another PVP Buffs incoming next week. But

Most of builder skills like SS, LB, IS, WF dmg buff by 20~40% next week.
But also it shows how enh talent/skill is made so awfully.
I hope blizz do somethings like;

  1. Storm strike does ‘stormstrike(physical + nature)’ school dmg. which will resolve weakness vs melee and vs all in later season.
  2. Maelstrom weapon pvp multiplier fix. Currently 10stack MW does 250%-> 215% in PVP. Blizz seems forget about it.
  3. enh need some splint which ignore slow or (and) root effect while doing dmg(DK & Ret already have this). Ghost wolf is good ability but we can’t do deal damage during it. This seems only good for running away and makes uptime-dps problem.

Agree with all of these.

Spenders should be more meaningful. rn it feels like a 10 stack LB or healing surge does nothing.

Trying to hit any ranged spec feels like treading through mud. I think lowering the cd on lunge and/or spirit walk would be enough.

I wanna know why it just feels like I run slower than everything at all times? Do I have a slower base move speed or something? I was attacking a mob and it just walked away and I couldn’t keep up running after it let alone another player. Wtf is happening?

Let spirit wolf last for 10 seconds after leaving ghost wolf or something but give me some movement speed.

Feel like they avoid stormstrike damage on SS cause it forces so much mastery scaling on it. They should just make it ignore armor baseline and normalize its damage.

I feel like I’m being gaslit when people tell me enhancement mobility is good and has no issues in current iteration of the game.

What? My 10 stack healing surges are healing for 2 mill a piece, I’ve seen 2.5 to basically 3 mill crits with enchant/trinket procs up.

Would not surprise me if somewhere in the code the baseline character movement speed increase they did in Cata just somehow never got applied to Shaman characters. I can’t even keep up to an enemy slowed by frost shock though it seems like somehow everyone else is immune to it most of the time.

Prob pve players putting their two cents into pvp content. In pve dungeons and raid u ghost wolf to new spots easy.

In pvp its annoying to go in and out of wolf while also getting slowed by everything.

MS + a few min of dampening and all of a sudden self heals don’t work

This is probably it right here. In PvE, I feel like enhancement mobility is adequate. Not really that good, but ok.

In PvP, there’s just not efficient mobility. It feels like all 3 specs of Shaman can kite decently well with their kit. But when it comes to having to kite AND close the gap against hyper mobile ranged specs, that’s where enhancement noticeably struggles.

Ya against hunters i remember praying for ascendance procs so i can actually do some damage cause god knows im not reaching them

This is exactly it. Feels like feral lunge needs another charge and snare associated with it, or possibly even a 2 sec root.

I’m down for some different modifications. I heard people talking about improving Thunderous Paws as well. Increase movement speed on it and during those 3 seconds of increased movement speed, make it immune to movement impairing effects. So like a mini Shaman version of blessing of freedom in a sense.

Movement speed enchants will help you here. But so will using your slowing tools and roots. If you are having problems with up time on players, try using static totem to cage them when you are ready to burst.

It is good, it’s just not readily apparent because you have to use multiple skills to maintain it. It also has a decent about of movement control in the form of slows and roots.

It’s readily apparent it struggles against ranged mobile classes. I use frost shock w/ the improved 10% further slow talent. I use roots and static totem. It’s sub-par. Hard disagree.

You can disagree, and I hate to say it like this but it’s the only thing that can be said. Skill issue. It’s true it’s not the best mobility in the game, but it’s not the worst either. The lack of press and forget stun is probably screwing with you harder.

If you’re coming at this from the place of an experienced enhancement, who’s proven themselves, then I can accept that it’s a skill issue and get better, and be motivated to get better knowing you worked at it. If you’re the average forum contrarian, gtfoh. I don’t know because you’re posting on a warrior, and I don’t dig through peoples profiles anyway.

It’s also agreed upon by people who don’t even play enhancement. Multi-Glad Streamers ranking specs, skill-capped, etc. They often mention it struggles with mobility, through just observing enhancement over the course of many games played. It’s not just me and my mediocre butt, which is why I said in the post above:
